First half summary: First quarter had our fair share of inside 50s and looked ok with Hampson putting it on a plate for Collins and also causing a couple of spillages. Hampson going down and then our structure fell down. Lots of long kicks inside 50 to Maxwell or Reid – Simpson the culprit a couple of times. When Kreuzer went down there he took one. Otherwise it came out quite easily. Yarran’s run good through HB/wing. Carrazzo kept Beams relatively quiet. Kreuzer playing better rucking almost entire quarter. Second quarter Walker began to lead from half forward and smash Maxwell or Reid, bringing it to ground for Garlett, Eddie, Judd, Simpson. Duigan almost playing CHF. Mclean linking up and feeding the runners. Yarran again providing run off HB, looking like last year’s form. Harassed them well. Second half summary: Lots of missed opportunities. 13:30 left 3rd quarter – Robinson miss straight in front after tackling Swan 13:00 left 3rd quarter – Garlett misses Watson gathers at half forward and bombs straight to Maxwell whilst having a shot 9:37 left 3rd quarter Armfield has a shot from 55-60 out – classic dumb football – he couldn’t make the distance but it got close enough so that it was punched through. Didn’t give crumbers a chance....dumb decision. 7:17 left 3rd quarter Eddie misses 6:44 left 3rd quarter Armfield misses 5:12 left 3rd quarter Garlett misses Jamison has the ball at half back but once again turns it over – fortunately he was dumped after he kicked it so we got a downfield free. His kicking off half back is a massive liability. Judd huge quarter, inside 50s. Yarran almost our barometer. Look so much better with him off half back in form. Collins one or two poor decisions but when he gets the ball he has ‘time’. Lots of one percenters in the last quarter. 19:30 left – Mclean smother results in Duigan goal. 16:47 Collins misses 15:00 Mclean smother again 10:25 Watson smother at half back 8:45 Collins kick into man on mark Kreuzer work at ground level for Walker goal Yarran run off half back massive, he is the barometer Immense games from Mclean and Judd Carrazzo job on Beams Use the sub at 10 minute mark first quarter. Lose Simpson late third quarter. Still win |

God I love this club. Yeah we got problems but on night's like tonight it so wonderful to just forget them for a while Go You BLUE BOYSSSSS!!!!! |

@#$%&! you Collingwood .... Da dada dada!! Nothing changes though, just delays Ratts end. The boys had all the motivation tonight, a couple of surprise tactics, need to show it for the rest of year now when the ammunition for motivation might not be so great. |
