Kingy's analysis regarding the defense on AFL insider was spot on.

For the first quarter the defense had no idea of their roles and where bickering on the field. This is a dire indictment of the coach & defensive coach.

I have a feeling that Duigan was probably the one following coaches instructions , where as the other where ignoring it.

So we got better in second quarter, was it following instructions? or not following the instructions that led to the improvement?

Hawks forwards look so well drilled automatically changing to fix structures to move Duigan around like a chess piece in total contrast to the Blues defenders.

Very impressed by King analysis work.

I liked Parkin's way of finding out which of his defenders where coachable. Amazing how much the game has changed.

It should be noted that they used the first 5 minutes of the show to take the piss out of Sticks, simply by using clips from his interviews this week......

Thanks Wookie,

That stuff on AFL Insider was fascinating, but they referred to Duigan as the "plus one". He didn't seem to be. He was trying to fill space and cover his man, easy to exploit that. Am I missing something?

The only thing I really got out of all of this is that Paul Roos will still be sitting on the couch next year... next year.
