Sticks is going on the media circuit this week it seems...

Tonight (tuesday) he'll be on 3AW @ 6:05pm
Tomorrow (Wednesday), Eddie will be calling him 'mate' a lot and talking about 'Stand By Your Man' on EMT on Foxtel

Whilst it may have been mentioned, here's a thread for those that don't wade through stuff.

Mods - feel free to lock to stop this becoming another sticks thread.

Caught the end of the AW interview:
- said he had called bruce to discuss the article, queried him on the boys club comment. Mckay select from a field of 10 and clearly best candidate.
- Said he was voted in last year and asks the board every year if they want him to step aside.
- ratts unfairly targetted for everything, and this is not about me or ratts but the carlton football club
- was within a "beesdick" of going onto footy confidential, was glad he did not because he thought he would jumped the table and attack grant thomas
- did not know a lot about the Hyde scenario but that hyde was a good bloke, we wanted more from him and it no longer worked for hyde
- rated our best talent equal to any, said they had a lot of kids that were not ready. Thought comments on how poor our list and list management were, were over stated and that recruitment has not been that bad
- roos and malthouse have been mentione for 18 mth, he barely knew mick
- said players needed to Play for jumper fri night
- in response to question about being poor over next month stated "all of us will be out of a job"
- ratts call if he coaches from boundary or box
- he was brock to lay off twitter for a week

Sticks is funny.

And i wish he did go on that show and attacked Thomas.

Not sure who would win..... but id get a mighty giggle..

Sticks flying the flag!!!

:screwy:

If Sticks sacks Ratten... then Thomas was right.. and Sticks' comment was as idiotic as most of anything he says.

You have to shake your head when Sticks talks ... hes just so professional and savvy

BTW i do believe Sticks would have a go... he hates being questioned and often gets agressive...

Did you listen to MM's praise of Sticks' leadership straight after? Told me he is interested in the job.

Lucius Cornelius Sulla was reluctant as well but at least he had the decency to resign.

Dont worry Sticks. Between Recruiting, President, Development, High Performance, Injury Management, MC selections, VFL fiasco, Riley, Capuano, Trading, List Management, Board, Boys Clubs, Twitter, Haircuts, Shoulder Strapping, Communications Department, Voting Rights etc....we're more than happy to share the blame around!

I've been critical of Sticks but if he smashes Eddie's big fat smug face in on EMT tomorrow he can be President for Life.

Does anyone else find it vaguely bizarro that our President thinks it's okay to admit publicly that he "doesn't know a lot" about the resignation of the person entrusted with our reserves team after just half a season?

Nah (well I don't know as I didn't see it) - that was me.

Just getting in with the 80s vibe of the club.
