2: Whoever's there and I really think it's poor how how harsh the supporters have been on Ratts lately.

you sang Whitney Houston's 'Didn't We Almost Have It All' after the 1986 Grand Final?"

Id like him to rate our list and will we be active in this years draft?

What does he perceive as areas we need improvement in the football department.

Clarify our relationship with the NB's and why we only have had a part time coach?

I wouldn't expect a club president to make any comments on the playing list, especially during the season.

Missed the session. Anyone who saw it and the hangout: Anything of interest?

First that I have heard of this!

I watched the google hangout with Sticks today. Good to see the club making some progress on fan engagement. Credit where it's due. And Sticks was pretty good today. Very good timing to come on the week after a great win. Might have been very tricky if it had been last week.

One way or another, someone will be rushed in way too early this week, with Warnock out. Just a matter of whether its Waite, Hendo or Casboult.

Can't see Thornton being recalled. The other option is to play Bower forward again.....

The google hangout is a fantastic initiative and full credit to Luca and the club for embracing this - we may not agree with the answers given but they're out there communicating directly with the fans.

There's been a lot of criticism of the club off field, most of it justified imo but the blueprint is a great initiative.

...recon they could go a little harder on the questions though.

Hope they stick with it...

Well gee, in that case - let's extend Ian Coutts' contract another 20 years.

It wasn't a go at you Rexy...it wouldn't matter what format you use, you're going to get the same questions and get the same answers. You're also going to get the same pats on the back and the same contract extensions and the likes of Coutts is going to stay on as Communications Manager and we'll jog on the spot for another 5 years.

Having said that, I'll put my hand up to chat to Greg Swann if he makes an appearance...but my chances of getting on are about as remote as Stephen Silvagni being named head coach of Carlton in 2013.

He does try hard. He really does. Heart on sleeve stuff. Bleeds Navy Blue. President material? Probably not the best use of his skills.

Just watched it. He is such a good spokesperson for the club.

Direct and spoke to every person just as he would a serious interviewer.

No Kennett aloofness and no overcooked false Eddie mateship.

Say what you like about this guy he's an A grade human being.

Presidents are about direction though cimm.

Thats the problem with Sticks.

And sometimes they have to be bastards!!!

George Harris rings a bell.

Sticks would be a great babykisser on family days.

Or the guy who does the ring around for membership drives...

Or you wheel him out for golf days.
Or pie nights....

A good President he aint....
