Pro : I think Watson is starting to find his feet

Con : When Luke Ball went down Beams stepped up to be a top liner (By the way, he would be the number one midfielder at our club right now.) WHo has done it for us?

I was at a game of footy at the "G"
Surprisingly good souvlaki outside Gate 2
Met some CFC legends
Enjoyed being with a good mate
Loved Army's two goals and his never say die attitude.
Eddie Betts is a wonderful player.
Cons
All the rest was a con
Not happy with Juddy. No pressure and only runs one way. I get the impression he does what he wants, when he wants. One of his efforts was very  I was embarrassed for him especially when those around me laughed and they were Carlton people.
Lack of system and clearly panicking through all three phases of the games.
Low confidence
Poor skill level
The side has lost their mojo and the responsibility must lie with the club leadership. Yes players must take individual responsibility but leadership sets the tone and environment. It is clear we have a problem.

Cons:

- Defensive press
- 2 Ruckman competing at boundary throw ins
- Playing 3 ruckman
- Losing to a team when we have 14 players to 10 who can run through the middle
- Hampson .... "almost"
- Moving Gibbs to half back again
- Subbing Boots off instead of a ruckman

Pros:

- Watto
- Armfield
- Judd
- Gibbs first half

No more ex Collingwood people at the club thanks - quicker Richardson Brown Williams leave the better. The quicker Swan leaves the better. Any stench of toothless GF serial losers should leave. If MM was sacked at Collingwood then he is definitely not good enough for Carlton and either are the above names. Does Kirk, Ling, Richardson, Leppitch, Nigel lappin, Luke power, Jonothan Brown, Simon Black, Ottens, Ricciouto, Banfield, Adam Hunter, Daniel Chick want to be assistant coaches?

Wouldn't mind if one of these became assistants, but I don't want another rookie head coach that has to learn on the job again. Unless he is ready to go , would prefer MM , as he will get the RIGHT people around him to do what he may not do well. That's what a head coach is all about. Look what Eddie, MM and co have left Collingwood? A well structured Organisation.

My issue with warnock was that several times he contested the ruck and then stepped away as that was all he felt his role was contest and get out of the way. No second efforts whatsoever.

And the two ruckman contesting the throw is was seriously [REDACTED].

In fairness to Warnock the [REDACTED] up bye situation in the VFL meant he couldn't get a few runs in before coming into the senior team. He didn't have a pre season. He is still our best pure tap ruckman and has shown it when it counts (finals). He still had the most hitouts to advantage of any of the rucks. Of course it would be good if he had more impact in marking contests/around the ground but you could say the same about the soccer convert.
