...not.

I think it's pretty telling that I have not read or heard about any player coming out and getting behind the coach/MC/footy dept.
They're willing to risk sanctions by criticizing umpires, but nothing in defense of their embattled coach.
Now I see Sticks has urged players to lay-off Twitter for the next month or so. Why?
Last year Collingwood players were very vocal in their affection for MM even though they knew he would be gone.
Can Ratts realistically get his players back?

Brock will tweet Ratts eventually, when he's finished with the fans

Don't know why you'd be judging the players support of the coach from their twitter accounts.

Their lack of support on field is a much more appropriate way.

True, but has anyone heard a thing from any Carlton person since Friday night? Don't think I've seen or heard a cracker.

Gone to ground, circled the wagons, in the bunker?

Having said though, if a player tweets that he's '2-3 weeks away' ...he mightn't be referring to recovery from injury.

Ah people making smart arse comments about someone repeating a post and then deleting the repeats...one of the joys of being a moderator

Club has asked all players to avoid any Twitter use until further notice...Sticks mentioned this in his pre-game speech.

Yes, Jamo was on yesterday and backed Ratts, time for players to do right & pull a digit out.

Under the things that Robbo doesn't like in his Tackle column today.........

4. Ratten bashing.
When the Blues were winning, it was how good the players are. When they are losing, it's how bad the coach is. Ratten can't win. Let's look at it. He's a got a dysfunctional forward line and a battered backline, Murphy is out, Waite is out, Henderson was out, Jamison went down, Kreuzer is needed as a key forward when he is a ruckman, and the other two, Hampson and Warnock, aren't exactly Buddy Franklin, either. The point is Carlton has excuses. The main point is leadership is never about one bloke. Why aren't the players being held accountable? Maybe that's what the talkfest at Carlton's headquarters yesterday was all about.

Anyone know what yesterday was about? So many threads in TC, I can't find a place to stick this post in!
