I can't seem to find any mention of it anywhere but this weekend Juddy plays his 100th game for the Navy Blues.
He gets his name on the number 5 locker and Oscar becomes eligible to play for us under the F/S rule.

He also becomes our 4th longest serving captain - overtaking the great Ken Hands with only Braddles, Big Nick and Sticks ahead of him.

Lets use this thread to talk about the positive impact that Juddy has has on our club and reflect on his first 5 years at Carlton.

For me his arrival signalled the beginning of the end of the dark days. His influence on the playing group has been and is enormous. He turned around a playing group that was a rabble and on their knees. On the field he has been amongst the very best that I have ever seen at Carlton and has managed to sustain that intensity over most of his time in the number 5.

I wont ramble on too much more and look forward to hearing your thoughts

To me what sticks out is the amount of times he has single handedly carried us to wins or brought us back from being badly beaten. Sadly there is still too much over-reliance on him alone. Still think one of his stand out games was against the bombers in the 2nd home and away clash last year. At that point, the 3rd brownlow was seemingly in the bag.

Blokes stopped eating hot chips with their lunch. Leadership right there.

Wasted 100 games of this blokes time.

I heard Luke Hodge say today he's got at least 4 or 5 years left in him. If we lose the next 4 surely he has to be sent to that island where Rhonda is getting serviced by Kitoot for some R&R.

We may get three more years out of him.

Has given so much to the club in such a short time...sadly let down by the softcocks and prima-donnas around him

Been a pleasure to watch (until this season), for some reason I still don't see him as a 'Carlton person' though.

More a professional footballer, would love to know how he feels about the club, I wonder if he hurts when we lose.

I think he was hurting after WCE.

Someone once said to me at the footy- 'Do you put Judd in the Carlton Team of the Century?' ...I replied that I think that's a given - I've certainly seen enough to put him in - although I'd hate to take the likes of Trevor Keogh & Laurie Kerr out of that team. Judd has always been a bit of a mystery. Reluctant captain and a little stand-offish, but closest thing thing this game has seen to the perfect mix of elite athlete and elite footballer.

Guess I am being pedantic, but Judd will have to wait another 88 years before he can be selected in the Team of the Century.

...and if they do a 'Carlton - 150 Years - Greatest Team' in 2014? It's likely.

Do a team of the century today and it's 1912-2012. #Pedantic

I've seen most games either live or on TV since 1970.

He and Jezza are just standouts.

"Gold" Jerry. "Gold".

Well done Chris!!

Certainly had his work cut out for him when he arrived, and has not let us down.

In the period 2004-06 at West Coast I considered him to be the best midfielder I've ever seen.
Hasn't been quite the same since his groin/abductor injury in 2007 which robbed him of some pace and kicking penetration however was still good enough to win a brownlow.
I just hope we can get a couple more good years out of him.

Forget his current form, bloody champion both at West Coast and Carlton. Has now played more games than Brad Fisher...

Bloody good footballer but I suspect his career at Carlton will ultimately be considered Sisyphean.

In terms of another premiership you are probably right.
