I wouldnt totally discount Roos.
He's had a bit of a stupid smirk on his face when discussing Carlton of recent. He's also been hesitant to lay the boots in when he's been happy to in the past.
I suspect something is afoot.

Either that or he's constipated.

I feel the same way - he's got the George Costanza 'I know something' look about him

It's called the 'I'd love to (have you seen the coin they're offering?) but if my wife ever finds out I'm wasting their time by entertaining it, she'll kill me' look.

Maybe she will enjoy the bucks too. A nice new mansion in melbourne. A yoga studio. Jobs for her kids once they are done educating themselves to the highest standard money can buy. Roos could set his family up for life.

All he has to do is coach us to two flags in 3 years.

The jewellery store salesman sees that same look on my face when I am peering in through glass containing the $20k Rolex

That's funny I get the same look from the guy at Chatuchuk Market in Bangkok when I look at the Rolex in his display case.

They don't need the money. Trust me. If they get to the point where they're even doing a Pros & Cons list - money won't figure into the equation.

Hey Doc - no-one is listening. Don't know why but apart from me no-one else wants to believe you!
Don't worry, I believe you and am truly relieved as well.

I believe you too Doc. To be honest I think he's loving the sound of his own voice way too much on Fox at the moment.

I want the best candidate for the Carlton Football Club - if it's MM with an under study, then so be it.
Whoever it is, I doubt they will take us to the Premiership with Judd still as Captain or still playing. I don't care, it's a team game and our players need to learn to play as a TEAM.

 I'll have my people call Roos' people. I don't know Roos' people, but my people know Roos' people. Would love to see Roos' people in Melbourne. But I don't think Roos' people want to come to Melbourne. Not full-time. Not now. It's probably one year too soon. Pity.

I don't want Malthouse or Roos. Both for different reasons.
I still think Ratten has what it takes but has been let down by the people surrounding him!
If we where to move Ratten on at the end of the year, I want us to do a digilent interview & review process.
All I know is that the current CFC coaches collectively have not inspired me.

How was he let down by the people that surrounded him???

And what kind of inspiration are we looking for???
Oprah
Chief Sitting Bull
Winston Churchill
King Leonidas
Martin Luther King
Winston Churchill
Alexander the Great
Lech Walessa
Nelson Mandela
Joan of Arc
Julia Gillard

?????

What would it take for you to be inspired Surrey??

I think GWS has a better chance of getting Roos than we have.
