I also heard the story, not sure but did he say that Cordy had been sacked or just had a falling out. He also mentioned that Icke was sacked last year because of a long running dispute with Ratten.
Maybe the wrong person is being sacked.
Cordy is apparently the highest paid high performing coach in the AFL, getting paid more than some senior coaches.

A typical mish-mash of internet surfing, scuttlebut and guesswork. Whether right or not, Barrett said NOTHING of substance...

What a stretch to hypothesise that all are not happy at Carlton after we have lost 5 of the last 6. GENIUS.

Massive leap to link it to the high performance manager when we are having a torrent of injuries. Barrett = flog

Rats is out of control.

Add to this his incident with Hyde last week and there are major concerns.

Those that saw it were shocked!

So did Cordy want the players to wait longer before coming back, but Ratts wanted them back in seniors quicker
Or did Cordy send the players back to early and now Ratts is spewing

Either way there will be a couple of players pretty dirty with someone

Seriously, we are fast becoming the laughing stock of the AFL. I barely listen to radio or watch any of the footy shows because of all the smart arse opposition supporters having a crack at us.
When will this crap end?

Injury management might be just one of several issues.

For mine i would have liked to see players more bulked then they have been presented. I just look at Adelaide, Essendon*, Geelong and West Coast and think when we have played them they certainly look stronger over the ball and able to break tackles easier. If Cordy wants tank and agility and Ratten wants that plus strength, could cause some friction/ Only my thoughts and have no proof what so ever. Just thoughts

Well elaborate, was it an incident at one of the breaks when he approached a young player and had a go at him when Hyde was talking to the group? This was mentioned in the NB thread on the weekend.
Or did something else occur?

Interesting. Just got home from Womens Basketball (Opals v Brazil) and was sitting behind S.Icke. Asked him about Ratten and Carlton. Lets just say he wasn't complimentary.

Now we have Hyde gone and Cordy in disagreement, although this has been brewing for a while. This also doesn't include disenchanted senior players.

Whether you agree or not with what is happening what is apparent is that we are leaking like a sieve. Sign of an unhappy and unravelling organisation.

This is now reaching a very serious stage.

There was more too it.

He basically ripped the stats off Hyde and basically took over. This was the last straw for Hyde.

Even if you think he is not coaching well you would probably not make a scene on match day. This has an impact on people around the club particularly the players.

A lot of guesswork going on here...just like Damian Barrett. Let it play out behind closed doors if there's something there. Mightn't be a bad thing, actually. There's no requirement for everyone to get along in a footy club. These two pitched the Qatar trip to the board, so were on the same page not long ago. I'm not concerned. Move on.
