We might be inconsistent on field but at least we know that every interview Ratts is in he will answer a question with a question and his grammar is always a concern.

For example just today when asked about what he thought about the fine Josh Hunt received for the foot stomp

This was his response.

"What can you say? The decisions that are made, they go right down to grass-roots footy,'' Ratten told reporters on Tuesday.

"Are these the things we want to see when we go and watch our kids play footy?''

Also when asked about the bye rounds true to form Ratts said

"Who knows what the bye will do for teams this year?,''

Thoughts?

To be honest, there are not too many fine orators gracing the AFL coaching scene. I think we need to just take it one coach at a time. Early doors my friend....early doors.

I'm disappointed we haven't had a late doors yet.

For example: "Did our intensity drop off late doors? Yeah, you could say that."

Very relevant, look at the interviews with Bucks and Hird and listen to the differences in communication style between them and Ratts.

Now remember normally Ratts is talking to 22 guys in the huddle, can you honestly say with his communication skills the message is not being lost or confused.

P.S I love Ratts, would love for him to stay at the club as a developmental coach but this is the senor coach of one of the greatest football clubs in the world we need a clear and concise leader.

Enough with the answering a question with a question it is a weak way of responding, time that he either shows some Parkin type leadership or he steps down.

Clearly reading TC and taking lessons from Synbad.

If you answer a question with a question, or ask a rehtorical question you can't lose...right?

Look at it this way is Ratts is good communicator?
