Why has the club failed to have one? I can't be bothered repeating everything that has already been said on here, but it is a disgrace that Brett Ratten's position is not under serious review right now. This isn't solely in response to last night's debacle, it is in response to playing poorly with little structure since Round 3. For 7 weeks sides have been flooding the stoppages against us and Steve Kernahan's premiership teammate has been unable to come up with anything to overcome this strategy. Our players (with a few exceptions) are playing without heart, endeavor and seemingly any tactical knowledge to combat the opposition. Not sure what else we need to see before some sort of decisive action is taken. And before you blame last night on injuries, this flooding of the stoppages strategy well and truly toweled us up with a reasonably fit list. Brett Ratten: You were a sensational player (ironically the complete opposite of the way your side is playing at the moment - inside and gave 100%, 100% of the time), and you also played a role for the club as coach, but your time has come. Anyone else feel that the club is just going through the motions while we slide backwards at an alarming rate? Not sure that the powers that be during our glory days would be so passive. |

Make no mistake - some serious questions need to be asked of the football department by the board. Injuries will not fly as other clubs have had worse injuries and are still winning or losing by single digit margins. As members, we need to hear something from the club administrators/board around what the club are doing to stop a leaking seeve. |

Injuries don't excuse lack of effort. They don't excuse Garlett having a shot on goal and not making the distance whilst we have no one on the line to provide a contest! They don't excuse Bower ignoring the umpire and not moving back from the mark and then conceeding a 50. Nothing to do with injuries whatsoever. They are the basics. You don't have to be a superstar to follow them. It's an indictment on the club that we use injuries as an excuse whilst ignoring the above mentioned errors from players who have been in the system long enough to know better! If the coach can't get the players to do those basic things then we have no @#$%&! hope. As Ross Lyon said "I'm a part of it, I don't separate myself because at the end of the day how they're playing is my responsibility" |

Injuries play a role on how a team is structured, you do agree with that? |

As I said, if you take all of Collingwood's tall forwards out.. take two key midfielders out and four of their best defenders out they will struggle...they've always had a forward structure we just recruited incorrectly with the abundant of half back flankers..rotten bad luck with all tall forwards injured. |

yeah its all bad luck have you noticed how nearly every other club can make their spuds look like superstars? have you noticed how we can make our bottom rung players look barely equipped to play VFL seconds? its called structure, plans, systems, development, belief, pride we have little to none of those to blame injuries for the disgraceful shit we are dishing up is a massive copout it was clear we had little of those things mentioned above before all the injuries shit we have been bemoaning the same crap for years now when will it end? enoughs enough for me |

Past month has been horendous. Players have little confidence in their own ability. They need better players around them and a structure, they're playing like headless chooks. It's been a poor month, but not as bad as you make it out to be...yeah injuries have devasted our forward structures every time we have the ball our boys look upand they only see Eddie Betts.. |

Coach can not do anything when half the leadership group is out injured. You can cop 2-3 key players like Collingwood but not eight. |

you are just continuing with the copouts and excuses, continuing a conversation is pointless. you are missing the core of the problem if everything falls to shit because half a leadership group is out as you say? then how weak is the club and everything in place? |
