Port will pump us if we play like we did today.

They aren't the easy beat anymore.

Ratten said late withdrawals Lachie Henderson (groin) and Chris Yarran (toe) would be "close" to being fit to face Port Adelaide next week, as would Nick Duigan (calf).

He said key forward Jarrad Waite (back) would have further assessment.

Andrew Collins finished the game on the bench with his ice wrapped around his knee, but Ratten said early signs indicated there was no serious damage.

"He feels alright now," Ratten said.

"He'll get a scan just to make sure, but I think he'll be alright for next week."

Alright! Got my tickets & car-park pass already!

Bring it on. We'll smash Port. There will be more Carlton people at the game then Port ferals.....

McKay said on radio before the Dees game that we're planning on taking 3 rucks to Perth in a few weeks... expect them to remain for this week.

So Waite isn't coming back anytime soon I guess.

This is music to my ears......now bring in Waite as well and maybe we can match some of the top teams forward!!!
Henderson Bower & Jamison give us 3 at the back end as well. Can't complain now Surrey.

Port go in for the ball (unlike Melbourne) and haven't been to bad this year.
They are quite capable of running out of defence and finding targets.
If we don't go to play it doesn't matter how we line up.

Music to my ears for the WCE game.
Kreuzer doesn't look right imo.
I'd want to make sure he's right for the Cats and Eagles games...moreso needed against WCE.

He seems to be lumbering along, with heavy strides.
His spring in his step is missing.
He should be good enough to play FF or CHF, but he's slow atm.
Hampson looked more dangerous at FF and he's my 1st pick for FF.
He filled in holes left at CHF when Kreuzer wasn't there whilst Warnock resting at IC. More dangerous closer to goal.
We need 2 main targets for FF and CHF. One KPF is not enough.

Warnock is my 1st ruck. He'll be on the field longer when he gets fitter; and he will.

If Waite was to return, then I'd be happy with either Hendo or Waite at CHF/CHB.
Does that mean Kreuzer would be...ruck rover instead of McLean?????

We drop McLean in the next 4-6 weeks and I'll give this them away. The guys is crucial to us right now as Curnow is struggling currently to capture the form of last year. McLean must stay and be given every chance to prove he can play like he did today. Great game by him, easily the best in the navy blue jumper.

I am going over to Adelaide for the game. Havent got tickets for the game yet so wondering where do the Carlton supporters sit? We are staying in the city and hiring a car, do you need a car-park pass too? Please let me know so we know where to sit, i assume we dont have to pre book tickets as i am sure there will not a capacity crowd. Thanks.

Port have half a dozen blokes who give a sh1t, so it could be a lot harder than we think.

Eric Pascoe from BF is hearing Yarran, Waite & Hendo are very unlikely this week.

"1-2 weeks"

Seems we might have three players suffering from:

Bower (calf). 1-2 weeks

Is Kreuzer really 'Injured'???

I thought he played OK yesterday. I'd like to actually play Kreuzer / Hampson and Warnock for the Eagles match! I reckon that could be a decent weapon to combat the Cox & Nic-nat-patty-whack combo and would make it difficult for Glass!
