It's clear Ratts will most likely be gone by seasons end based on today's result....assuming this occurs who are the most likely candidates?....

We need someone who will ge the players together and have them playing a group.

This is an extremely important time.

Roos or Malthouse are the only options. We can't risk anyone else.

End of season? Another loss like today and should'nt coach another game for the Blues.

Might knock a few heads together but I seriously doubt he would have won too many flags 10 years ago without Jonathan Brown, and the best midfield group I've ever seen landing in his lap.

Even he's said the key to winning flags as a coach is to take over a great list at the right time.

We have a good list but there are some glaring deficiencies and I doubt he'd be interested (or what we need).

Matthew knights. .... Well I think he deserves some credit for where Essendon* is now.

Don't think I could stomach watching our side turn to Swans footy.

This is bad enough but that would bring out the razor blades.

and then when he flowers that up we might just be able to get rid of him.

Do you seriuosly think Roos could get this group of players playing Swans style of footy

Don't think Roos is the answer.
His comments are not particularly insightful.
Malthouse could be good. Again, not convinced.

However, not sure this bunch of players really have the desire. Their intensity on the field is consistently 2nd; their attitude off the field appears complacent.

TBH Ratten sounds like he really knows what he's talking about. After a loss like this, he usually says all the things we would all be thinking. Clearly, unable to communicate this effectively to the boys and therefore agree he is looking very vulnerable. BUT I am worried that these guys just don't have it in them.

Perhaps, they need to have a GHLAT le Geelong did at the beginning of 2007.

Let's be clear, this can be turned around.

There issome talent on this list but they aren't playing with any cohesion or confidence.

We have little or no game plan and opposition sides are picking us apart.

Someone needs to stand up and make the hard decision for the club not their mates.

Look at Essendon* two years ago and Adelaide last year.

Sticks and Swanny over to you!

I couldn't care how ugly it would be, would prefer to win than lose.
