(you'll need to use 'the trick')

Bit of a nothing article but I had to laugh at this comment.....

And look what happened you missed out on 3 premierships.

He was still in nappies when those premierships happened.
Actually Brisbane right now are not too far off where we were when Murphy started at Carlton.

Very diplomatic stuff from Marc.

Who did his dad want him to play for?

I remember John saying he didn't believe much in the link between Brisbane and fitzroy, and therefore didn't really care if Marc turned down the offer. I think it was in an article last year when comparing John to Marc as a player.

What did I expect at Carlton? In fairness the facilities weren't that much better than I'd had at the Oakleigh Chargers.

There were a few old weights lying around in one dark room and it didn't look much different from a local football club.

Goes to show how far we've come...

Another poorly thought out and generally unnecessary media contribution from young Murph.

First there was the "we wouldn't let that happen now" article which showed a lot of talk, and certainly not any walk when the exact same type of incident happened against Essendon*..

Then the comments on Before the Game. Again a lot of talk.

Now this which really doesn't shed new light on anything that happened at the time, and only serves to be self-inflating one's ego and worth (has there really been any demand for the "real" story behind Murph choosing us?) and antagonise/disrespect Brisbane unnecessarily.

Remember when the likes of Nafan Brown and Akermanis would talk about us in unfavourable light, and be publicly dismissive of us as a potential destination? Reminded me of that.

Would prefer to not see him in the paper/on TV for a while...

Problem was we were and these players talked it and then walked it - these clubs stood on our throat for 5 years and made sure we knew about it.

We are not even a capable of applying any mental disintegration on any club yet - in fact we are the ones doing all the disintegrating .......

and brother when we disintegrate we disentegrate.
