Locke wrote: General thoughts on Bower and Jamo up forward? Adding more strings to their bow's. If it works out you have a forward line that can play backline and a backline that can go forward. When we come up against GWS the players can just stay at 1 end for the whole game... |

I'll take that any day. Thanks for posting the pic of Eddie. That's what I like to see. Oops. Just realized it was taken 6 games ago... |

Locke wrote: General thoughts on Bower and Jamo up forward? I thought Jammo did okay when he went forward - delivery wasn't great to him. I don't think Bower added anything and was run off too easily. Didn't have a bad game generally but not good up forward - may as well have Army or robbo to keep the ball in.. Of course Walks will be handy... |

That was most enjoyable indeed. Look, the pies were shot after they were 2 down, but the real damage was done early. Great win and sets up the season beautifully. I reckon we are a force to be reckoned with this year - just need to learn how to beat the Hawks. Well done Blues, you flower ripper!! |

Very hard to pick a poor player - so many did well. Tackles, clearances, run, marks, pressure, ruck work. Killed 'em in pretty much every area. Well done boys - a great evening! |

Watched it in a Xanxi hotel filled with local "businessmen" and I did get a few quizzical looks when I jumped out of my seat when Juddy and then Hammer kicked those last quarter goals. Local beer tastes brilliant! Thanks boys a sensational win. Such a long way since that game against Melbourne in 2005 hey Jars? |
