Pros
- Too many to mention, seriously
- Rapted to see us keep foot on the pedal until final siren (6.1 to 0.1 in 3rd and 7.6 to 2.2 in the 4th)

Cons
- But, did their woeful effort in 2nd half make us look better than we were?
- Didn't win by 100 in Ratten's 100th game as coach

Con: Apparently David King said Matthew Kreuzer was amongst the worst 5 players on the ground last night. :screwy:

Pro: I suppose that means he can only play better than that.

Pros: Team playing like Champs.
Eddie lords a leaping. (yes Mil, you are right, I meant moty not goty!
Juddy and Smurph.
Juddy!!! ( )
Carrots!!

Lachy. No reason really. I just think he is a ripping bloke, and so glad he's in our team.

Cons: Commentators who can't let go of Cyril as God.
For pete's sake. Eddie's 2 marks were already better.
The nasty callers who can't appreciate how hard the players and coach have worked, and have to bang on about all the old stuff. Move on!!!! Plus, it's plain unfair not to respect this groups efforts.

David King is a Knob. He was adamant that Richmond were going to trash us!

- Pro's
Just about everything.

- Con's
Not much really. Great game.

Pro's:
Numbers on the ball.
Attack on the ball.
Jamison and Walker make us immediately better.
Several players are still building up to full speed and not many set to go back-wards.

Con's:
Back-line not quite settled. Reasons are obvious.

Pros
Didn't take foot off in last
Goal kicking in second half
Murphy
Waite

Cons
Hampson struggled
Goal kicking in first half
Giving away a few dumb 50s each game
Ball often sprints out of forward line when we turn it over - good teams will punish this

Pros:

Waite working into some form. Will only get better

Lots more

Cons:

With Heaves on this, Channel 7 commentary and especially camera angles were a disgrace last night. I pray that it is not a directive for this season to babble on like that and hold on those ridiculous close ups...nightmare.

Prediction:

I've been a Carazzo fan all the way through, although recognise he has limitations in his kicking. But I reckon he'll be in Sheahan's top 50 at the end of the year. If it's possible for a B&F winner to subsequently have a break-out year, this is it.

This will do me.....

Pros

https://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle ... fault.aspx

Cons

Stupid AFL and its fixtures. 5 day break is a joke for anyone. It is just no possible to physically back up in such a short time frame the way the game is played these days.

I think a major pro in these last two games has been the fact that although we've played poorly early and fallen behind on the scoreboard, we've been playing the game on our terms and it is just our mistakes that are keeping the opposition in the game. In both games I've felt really confident that when we eliminate those poor errors in terms of unexpected fumbles, poor disposals (including goal kicking), missed tackles and free kicks, we will run away with the game and that's what has happened.

We are too fast, too fit, too strong, too skillful and too cohesive for the bottom teams now. Bring on the pies next week.

Cons:
I hope we don't learn any poor habits from playing against such poor opposition. Brisbane were uncompetitive in the 2nd half.
Agree wholeheartedly on the camera angles. Who is the moron director in charge of the ground level close ups during the live passages. Only use the close ups for replays you flowers!

Pros

Eduardo's form
Amigo's even more dangerous now that Gar(t)lett and Yazz have matured a tad - will only get better too :yikes:
Murph has risen to the elite. Happy to have him at least the equal of the Great man.
Sugar adds zip and class to the midfield. His kicking seems to have returned to first year form ?
Zac a very cool customer - great addition to the team.
Waitey, its great to have you back. Kicked very well last nite.

Cons

Bugger all really, except that Bower still scares me when he gets the ball, esp when he's got time to think.....

Pros:
Judd, flicked the switch
Murphy, makes time
Waite, nice hands
The whole team going into attack seemed to look and make good decisions.
Defence worked well together and supported each other.

Cons:
Need to chase harded at times or the better team's will punish us on the scoreboard.

That is how the press works missnaut. It was in top form last night. The idea is to get more score applying the press than the opposition get from getting through the press. I think we have had that covered so far this year.
You can expect Henda to play very good games of footy but still have 4 kicked on him. That is because once the oppo get through the press he is left hung out to dry. Still though the press is supplying a large amount of our score so that tactic wont be changed in a hurry.

I don't think an extra 2 days break between games would equal 91 points if the teams were evenly matched. Commentators need to build a bridge.
