Great post Frank. Thinking of doing the tribal walk. 600pm meet at Fed Square..and off we go. If not, I'll do that same walk earlier. Sounds great. |

Being an interstater i've only done it a few times and agree wholeheartedly. It's also the ONLY walk of that distance that my kids didn't say "how much more i'm tired" |

I dunno. The walk from the MCG to Carlton after a grand final win is pretty damn good. It's been too long since I've done that one though... Nice post frank. as always. |

Bingo!!! ![]() But the walk out on Thursday Night will be pretty special if it involves the clatter of seats of Richmond ferals halfway through the last quarter. ![]() |

Aah, the bleary-eyed walk from my bedroom at 0130 in the dark so as not to wake the missus. Hoping she has left the TV volume down so I don't blast the household as I sync it with the laptop. Then the walk to the kitchen whilst the laptop is booting for my first coffee of the day and then the walk to the living room to sit by myself on the darkness and watch the stream. Then at game's end, the walk back to the bedroom and trying to snatch an hour's sleep as my mind replays the game until the alarm goes off. I've done the CBD to MCG walk lots of times and it is a great walk. But these days I have to settle for something a little less romantic. |

Well just got home and I need to add to this thread; My plane was late leaving Hong Kong (departed about 8:00pm China time) which gave enough time to catch with the result! Now I'll tell you my "best plain ride" in the world - surrounded by 5 or 6 Richmond supporters (one even wearing the Richmond jumper) I think there was more actually - unbelievable really ..... I'll let you guys fill in the rest. Just plain magnificent. Now I need to see the game. ![]() |

Go on you surrey - grab the tape you will enjoy it - good to see even as far as Honkers the tigers were overhyped the walk last night was fantastic 26 degrees -people everywhere in their blues and tigers jumpers - people in their colours in the pubs discussing the possibilities of the game and what might happen - the lights on early as you go over the footbridge absolutely sensational The walk back to East Melbourne was pretty good last night flush with victory - a good honest team performance - lots of room for improvement - another spiflication of Tigers Oh were from tigerland ........ |
