I don't know if this deserves a thread but .....What is going on. Membership department has really got their act together this year.

My three memberships arrived in the same mail bag !!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't have to bargain for a hat or scarf. Everybody got one of each included in the mail. And the best quality for years.

Big fridge magnet with the year's fixture.

Could say they are only doing what they always should have, but congrats to the guys/girls at the membership dept.

Sorry, but I don't see how any membership packs arriving this late deserve a congrats.
Things could be 100% better next year, and I hope they will be.

(Guess whch family still doesn't have their packs! )

Im still waiting too. Had to call the club to find out what was happening with our reserved seat memberships, we paid for them before the first cut off (i think it was late november - early december). They said they'd be in contact when the seats were being "handed out", heard nothing. Shambles.

( I would imagine it's hard to put all the reserved seat members where they want to sit, but at least call and give us an update as to what is going on).

Interesting feedback. They have always been pretty good to us apart from one year that was an absolute shambles.
Paid for me and Mrs. Teddy online at night. Then their system went down. By the time I got on to the membership dept. (next day) to pay for Teddy Jnr his seat had been taken. Had to sit two bays away.
That's why I thought a bit of congrats. They finally have done something right.

By the sound of things, the main problem is they are slow but as long as you get the package a reasonable time before round 1 does it really matter?

Yes. Inconvenience wise...dunno if you can use the m'ships for NAb...but apart from that...had to call and get barcodes so we can buy season away games. Just annoying. Especially as we paid up months ago.

Got mine! A month before Round 1!
Stickers a bit bent, as such I won't be signing up next year.

I really don't think the club has that much control over who produces the packs - card, stickers, magnet etc and whilst everything in the AFL is regulated, 17 other clubs may also be using the same provider, hence the delay in getting packs out.

I have to say that I was happy that I didn't have to line up for the cap and scarf and the cap was the best quality for 4 years.

Agree the scarf is good but the cap is rubbish - cheap, horrible material and doesn't fit. It's really not that hard - FAIL.

Ummm my little brother received his membership today but mine definitely was not in the same package. I renewed both at the same time over the phone so not sure what to think now?

I have Friends who support Melbourne and Western Bulldogs who usually receive their membership pack before Christmas.
