Nah, Jim would've laughed. And possibly even yelled "Tell him he's only out there 'cause his old man could play a bit"...which is true. Dylan has a very long way to go. And best case scenario had he not been father-son would probably be a rookie list on the other side of the country.

As always, nice reporting Harker...I hope to get along in February. My reports will be few and far between this year, and they won't be sugar coated. The Carlton Football Club's very small window of opportunity has opened. If they (players, coaches, board) don't take advantage of it, like the Saints and Bulldogs have failed to do, then the club faces a whole new set of problems...that I dare say - knowing this club - they are ill prepared for.

Id prefer not hearing any reports at all from you if you're going to keep posting like you have lately.

Your disappointment with the club is getting boring. I think everyone knows that you are not happy, stop dragging it into every thread.

I think you'll find I'm pretty accurate. But feel free to keep the blindfold on.

As far as I am concerned I want people to give their own perspective. That is what makes this site what it is. I find Doc's observations from what I can see are normally well considered. He appears to be close to the club and I value what he has to say. If for some reason I don't agree with a post re the team (unlikely as I live so far away) then a question or two can usually clarify without getting too excited.

I agree with the comments about Doc. My problem with his observations is his negativity post the SOC incident.

Agree Dane. I love Docs post usually but all that negative stuff sounds a bit sooky. Like he didnt get his way and has cracked it.
Which is fine in a way. Taking his money elsewhere is his choice too but trying so hard to get others to get negative by continually posting this stuff is boring me a bit.

Take your cash to Willy Doc and leave it be !

You'll all have to get in line to join the anti-DocSherrin bandwagon I'm afraid. Ian Coutts is first in line and his staff aren't too far behind him!

Doc Sherrin's training reports are amazing.

They have brightened up many a day

Stay around Doc.

I hope my post didnt come across aggressive. It wasn't meant to be. Just reckon Doc has made his point. Has made his protest with his cash and in my opinion should leave it at that.

The rest of his posts are top notch.

Well I think there's an easy compromise folks. I'll post all the positive, sugar coated, feel-good, kumbaya Carlton stuff on here (in accordance with Dane's wishes). And for anything slightly negative or any criticism or questioning leveled at the club, I can post on SCE (where only a handful will read it anyway).

While a few of you don't like to hear the club publicly being criticized through online forums, the tiny ripple emanating from these forums doesn't rock the boat very much (if at all). The club doesn't care about you. You are irrelevant.

Rise above it all Doc and keep posting as you see it!

Not sure why we have to get down on the club or the players through training reports, Doc?

I've only been here for a relative moment so I won't pretend to understand the workings of this board or individuals agenda's within it.
Politics aside, I'm just glad to have a team capable of giving the big boys a shake right now and isn't that what it's all about, irrespective of any percieved, or for that matter, known issues?
