Sounds good. What's the population of Kyabram?

I've never heard of it, and had to google map to see where it was.

Great spot Kyabram not far from Echuca. My uncle was the paritioner (Rev A. Plant) on Church Street for quite a few years there.

They breed some decent footballers too :)

I went to school there on Church st at St.Augustines College about 25 yrs ago. And yeah some decent footballers have come from Kyabram,
unfortunately none have become champions at Carlton.

I believe, the only Carlton player to have come from Ky, is Wayne Deledio who apparently played one game for the Blues.

Population here is about 7500.

There is going to be a dinner with the Carlton boys on the night when the guys are in town
and yours truly scored 1 of only 200 seats available.

There will be tables of 10 which includes 2 Carlton players on each table.

I AM SO EXCITED !!!!,,,to get up close and personal with the team.

Apparently those who are recovering from injuries eg, Kreuzer, Waite
wont be making the journey to Ky.

Can anyone confirm ?

As I used to go to Ky a lot on business a few years ago; I can say that they always talked proudly of Garry Lyon as being a Ky boy.............(I'll just go and wash my mouth out)

Maurie Fowler (household name) came from Ky. Um, Deledio W. came from Maryborough.

Apparently there's a guarantee of one half-back flanker at every table.

Is he a relation of Brett Delidio, how has been mentioned before as from Ky?

This Wed night is Dinner with Carlton boys here in Ky.

There will be 2 players seated on every table, which got me thinking.

If you could have dinner with 2 Carlton Boys, who would you choose ?

I'll be heading to Ky from Albury on Wednesday then going to spend a long weekend with the family in Echuca....I wonder what time in the afternoon the clinic will be held? I might get some photos and signatures and what not.

I believe they guys will be going to, the two schools in town during the day and then heading down to the
main Ky footy Oval about 4.30-5.00 to run a training clinic for the kids.

The dinner starts at 7.00pm at Ky Footy Clubs reception room.

Fantastic day today mingling with the boys as they conducted several drills for the kids. It was so relaxed and all the players were just so patient and willing. Special mention to Scotland....he's so natural, had a great chat with him today.

Oh and Jeffy has a wonderful smile

He said Scotland and himself were heading off to Yarrawonga tonight to finish some unfinished business.
Not much else to report.
