I reckon Murph.

Built like a little tank - explosive - goal kicker - leader

Murphs our best now

I agree

Juddy’s finals campaign was a real disappointment in my eyes and has dropped him a few pegs in my calculations. Albeit, he got very little protection...

I dont think Murphy would fare any better against the all game AFL sanctioned holding/grappling/smothering/scragging tactics used against Judd throughout the second half of the season

Trent Sporn was our best. These days it would have to be Judd. If you need a reminder, suggest watching the first swans game...wow wee
Murph needs to do it for one more season under judd-like attention to take it for mine.

Might aswell do a top ten now that we're away.
1. Juddy
2. Murph
3. Jamo
4. gibba
5. simpson/scotland
6. simpson/scotland
7. Yaz
8. Robbo
9. Krueze
10. Tex

Vinnie Cattogio had the best hairdo.

Apart from that is Murph more a "workhorse" or "accumulator" (still a brilliant one) whereas Juddy is more a "gamebreaker".

Both indispensible and whichever is more turned on is the better.

JUDD!

I've always subscribed to the theory that Judd takes best defender/s which allows those below him to shine.

Murph is great, however, take Judd out of the team & see the ripple effect on those below him - murph would get greater attention which would then lead to him dropping off marginally etc etc down the list.

JUDD is our best by a mile - others may deliver more on any given day, but to a significant degree that's because Judd takes the most attention from the opposition which results in diminishing returns for opposition for their efforts on those below Judd.

I remember Mil before he shaved his last few strands off. Really strange look. Some illness he had.

Great minds think alike mate

RE Mil Hanna, pretty sure he lost all his hair didnt he?

Also had skin pigmentation issues i think?

Murph probably wears his heart on his sleeve a bit more when it comes to a hard tag (see L.Picken) whereas the Judd just gets on with it. Jamo can break any tag. wish we had two of him.

How often does Jamo get tagged?

Agree with Judd. Not so sure about the theory of Judd getting the best defender though.

I think its almost 50/50 between Judd and Murphy getting the oppositions most negating tagger, with other teams putting the tightest tag on Murphy and putting someone more offensive on Judd to try and hurt him the other way.

Judd for mine, his inside work is superb.

Murphy is no slouch either and he is simply getting better each game

Gibbs has the potential to be a champion, just needs to believe it and impose himself on the game

Waite at his best is unstoppable, unfortuantly his brain fades have cost him. His tenancy to get injured also may not allow the wier football community see what he can really do over a season.

Scotland for sheer consistancy does his job week in and week out at a high level.

Krezuer, antoher potential champion who just needs to believe it.
