Does that mean we will beat them by 3 points in Round 14 as we did in 1991????

I would love us to win this game against WCE on their turf by a point......

Don't care if we win another game for the rest of the year...

Think you will get good odds on that happening. Close to $10.

That was at OO. Can't see it happening at Subiaco. I don't think we were as bad in 1991 as we are now.

I remember that day I was sitting on the wing...right where Darren Tarczon shirtfronted Guy McKenna...the noise when Minton-Connell kicked the goal to put us in front was awesome :D

Hard to believe we are a worse team than '91 but I think you may be right.

That shirtfront is one my favourite football memories I reckon

I'll be happy if we don't break last years record.....unfortunately the worst possible task coming out of a break fresh etc and having to travel to Subi for a smashing...and undoing of all the work, rest and preparation that will go on over the break

Just thought I'd lighten the mood in the place - what are your memories of this game?

http://www.blueseum.org/Round+14%2C+1991

We should never consider ourselves out of the hunt against this mob. They should get the 1991 squad to give us a pep talk before Saturday

Go Blues.

There are a lot of ordinary players in that team but still at least 7 members of the 1987 Premiership team in that 1991 line up.

Andrew Phillips has had a good run at it when you think about it. Pity injuries are starting to slow him down.

But one of the rare times we drafted a player hoping they’d grow into a KPP.
