Here's hoping he takes a page out of Chris Johnson's book from a few years ago

Trolling injured blokes. Classy.

I notice Brad Greenvest is playing. Is this just a group of blokes who weren't smart enough to be on holidays when they starting ringing round to get a squad together? Because it can't be a side picked on ability.

The Irish creating a stir a few years back about how our players are too rough has worked a treat... Angus Monfries is in the team.

He'd have to be the bravest one on that list wouldn't he? :fight:

Angus Monfries (Essendon*), 132 games, 0 Tests

Seriously thought that he would be an under 50 game player - Those poor Scum supporters have had to watch that bloke 132 times

Maybe Grigg will be able to kick the round ball better?

That is overall the worst list for an Australia V Ireland test that I can remember.

You say that now, but I think he's set for a crack in the middle next year, and it may just be his chance to shine. Could be their Simmo.

I know he's a diver as a forward, but when he gets a go in the middle he actually is a good player who plays hard footy. Away from that, the IR game suits him.

Thuggery at its worst. These days players get suspended for the AFL season proper and not future IR matches. There will never be a repeat of that Johnson episode, which was a blight on the AFL and did the image of a player representing Australia no good at all. The fact that you are looking for it is a disgrace.

Not even in jest as the saying goes.

Yeah and what is it with the Irish? A nationality reknown for its liking of a Guiness and a fisticuffs. Put them on a footy field, look at them sideways and they turn into a bunch of whinging private school girls that have had thier Facebook privledges withdrawn.

Is this series being played in Oz?

The good players seem to queue up when there's an overseas junket on offer, but suddenly are unavailable when it's being played at home.

Just don't get reported, Mitch.

And leave Grigg alone. We want him available for round one.

Must be the only sport in the world where being selected for your country is a chore, rather than an honour. And fairdinkum, does it have prestige or what!!!! Grigg????? :garthp:
