We've had a great season ended by injury...
However
Chris Judd not getting All Australian Captain = Joke
Scotland losing AA to R. Murphy = Joke
Walker not winning mark of the year = Joke ... Seriously could he get much more height or hangtime?

Palm facing backwards isn't a hold.

Absolute joke that Walker didn't get it

Quarterbrain said as much last nite, and Wallsy and Darcy agreed. WTF ???

Thank God that Krakouer didn't get GOTY as well.

How would you feel if the decision was given at the other end, with Carlton up by 3 points?

It wasn't really there.

The Lynch one you could definitely make a strong case for, but even then it would have ben a little hot.

I hope there are enough defibrulators available in hospital emergency wards if Juddy doesn't bring home the Brownlow!
 :yikes:

Won't be too upset if Marc Murphy beats him :smoking:

The walker is NOT the one people should be talking about.

Duigan's was far worse, that led directly to the shuey goal.

Anyway. Time to move on.

Yes, we were robbed. Next time we take better marks, kick better goals, have better AA seasons, and have HUGE 3/4 time leads in finals so no matter what transpires we cannot be denied.

Bring on 2012.

hmmmm...can't help but feel it's the old Tall Poppy Syndrome.
Journos built him up to a fever pitch and went on and on about a 3rd....even a 4th Brownlow.
Perhaps the weight of expectation and idolising impaired Juddy's performance in the last little while? Or contributed to it.
Given the build up..it is very possible it won't go his way.
I sincerely hope he does win though.
Overall..the most deserving winner.

Brownlow voting is done by the UMPIRES we can't even predict when they pay a free kick never mind how they voted across 24 rounds. So Judd might win he might not.
Ablett could win, as could Goodes, Pendlebury and Murphy and maybe even cox.

My view is that Swan may get more votes than Pendlebury as some sort of evening up from his loss to Judd last year.

C'mon Judd, C'mon Murph

Chopping the defender going for a mark isn't review worthy

Neither is being tackled while trying to kick after having prior opportunity

Play on in both instances if you are wearing a Navy Blue shirt. Free kick if you are wearing a shirt with yellow on it.

The Walker free has been used as a smokescreen to ignore the ones that weren't 50-50 and were missed.

If the players are as angry as the supporters are we'll go undefeated next year

And the one conveniently used by "The Moron" with his insane explanation/justification about back of hand/not clenched fist bio-mechanic gobblegock.

Eddie Betts was robbed of goal of the year too.

The run and carry winner was done half a dozen times this year - and Yarran does it better...

From the poll on the HS website.

Which of the finalists do you think should have been named Mark of the Year?
Andrew Walker 64.26% (3058 votes)
Andrew Krakouer 23.43% (1115 votes)
Nic Naitanui 12.31% (586 votes)

Total votes: 4759

AFL website doesn't release total votes, yet have two players on exact same percentage (no decimal).

Don't you think the fat flower up the top should do the right thing and release the figures?
