Coaches are arguably the best judge on these types of things.

Congratulations Marc Murphy!!

Not bad for the Coaches and the Players peers to vote Murph and Judd as the #1's respectively.

What would the umpire know. :fight: :fight: :fight: :fight:

Regards Cazzesman

Good one Murph.

And West Coast coach John Worsfold capped off a remarkable year for the Eagles by being named coach of the year,...

All coaches voted for their peers on a three-two-one basis.

AFLCA chief executive Danny Frawley described it as a Melbourne Cup field for the coach of the year.

"It included Worsfold, last year's winner Mick Malthouse, Chris Scott, Brett Ratten and Alastair Clarkson," Frawley said.

Murphy is fast becoming the ultimate AFL footballer.
He's really catching up to Judd quickly.

Let me guess...there were 17 coaches in the running?

Congrats Murph, sensational stuff

Clearly in the absolute elite category now.

The fact that there is some debate on who currently is our marquee player speaks volumes on Murph imho.

My best mate, diehard WCE fan and heavily anti Carlton since the Judd trade, is on him for the 2012 Brownlow.

this award is miles behind the 2011 Brownlow and 2010 AFL PA MVP when it comes to prestige.

This may be true in terms of the media focus but it's all class when it comes to quality of award.
No better judge than the ones that keep you employed.

Speaks volumes for his standing in the football community when opposition coaches rate him so highly
