Probably with the exception of Blackwell and Bentick, I haven't heard much this year about some of our former charges in their post-Carlton careers in local leagues. Does anyone have any news about how some of our recently departed have been going?

Trent Sporn was at North Adelaide (i don't know if he still is)
Prenders was at South Adelaide
Campo is playing for SMOSH West Lakes (division 2 in the amateur league over here in SA, and thats only when the crows had their byes)

Luke Livingston and Aisake played for Maribyrnong Park in EDFL. Beaten in Prelim. Jordon Doering plays for Strathmore who play Oak Park in GF this weekend. Lance played for Cragieburn in same comp.

Hard year for Anderson as Sturt struggled all year and he had to play as a KPD, but he was one of there better players.

Hartlett missed a lot of footy with injury again.

Pfieffer has had an awesome year.

Justin Murphy Heidelberg V Cameron Cloke Bundoora this weekend in the NFL grand final.

Caleb Tiller has been playing with the Cranbourne Eagles in the MPNFL. They play Narre Warren in the Grand Final tomorrow (24th). Caleb was best-afield in their 113 point second-semi win against the Dean Rice coached Berwick 2 weeks ago. Laurie Angwin also plays for Cranbourne as does Justin Berry - two blokes who should have had lengthy AFL careers, but didn't.

To put in bluntly - Caleb plays this league like he did when he was playing under-16 country footy. It's easy for him. He should be playing in the VFL, but ironically - the money he gets from playing at Cranbourne (about $800 a week) outweighs the coin he could get playing in the VFL.

Caleb is not seeking a comeback to AFL ranks. He simply doesn't have the drive, nor ticker to go through a lengthy pre-season and season coupled with the associated external pressures. FWIW, Cranbourne haven't been defeated all year. They finished the regular season with a percentage of 234.9.

GF was on Saturday - Strathmore won by two or three points. Digby Morrell is their playing coach, but didnt play in GF

Anthony Franchina plays for the Balwyn Tigers.

Nick Stevens has been playing in the Northern Footy League, pretty sure he plays for Montmorency who are in division 1.

Jake Edwards has played for Port Melbourne this year and dominated. Garry Ayres sent Edwards to a rampaging Ryan Houlihan last week and Jake Edwards completely shut him out of the game.

North Adelaide has Cain Ackland & Brett Backwell running around for them. Both have had reasonable seasons.

Glenelg is currently coached by Kris Massie

Norwood has ex Bullant Brett Zorzi and also Darren Pfeiffer. Both have had great years.

West Adelaide has Adam Hartlett who is always injured only played 9 games and Brad Fisher who kicked 31.18

Sturt Joey Anderson who has been really good in a shit team
