O.K most of us will work with at least one or two. So how did they react to the loss on the weekend.

At my collective

One comrade rang in sick
Antoher slunk out on the road very early today despite having a clear diary
The other was very late, locked herself in her office and was very snarly to the lone Carlton supporter in the collective when she did deign to emerge.

Yep taking it well they are.

The mood varies between stony silence or else sour grape fueled vitriol.

As far as I am concerned they can stew in their own bile juices.

A far bigger outpouring of hatred is to come if we get through to a prelim.

- which I believe that we will.

With patience there's a couple of flags to come from this bunch.. and at least one more brownlow..

At that point the hatred will subside to a reluctant, begrudging acceptance of the Blue reality.

Got the usual excuses.

Pears went down with an injury
We re a young team and will be better then you in 2-3 years time

Funnily enough, they couldnt come up with an answer when I asked them how they consider themselvea 'young team''when oldies like Lovett-Murray, Hille, McBeigh, Fletcher were running around with the likes of Jetta, Davey, Monfries, Stanton, Reimers and Ryder who ve all been in the system 5-6 years.....

Two scum supporters at work congratulated me and said we were the better side.

One said he couldn't get over how fast the Blues were. (He also said he spent most of the 2nd 1/2 in the Grey Smith Bar  )

Gentlemen both of them

Most Bummer boys took the loss and my antagonism pretty well today.

Tiger fans on the other hand are not right in the head... :screwy:

Fair to say they handled it better than I would have if we'd lost...

3 in my office. I went out of my way to go and say "good morning" and just smiled at them. Didn't need to say anything else. i could see the pain in their eyes

I was waiting for a list of excuses but my work colleague just said, "wow, you just murdered us". I didn't have the heart to rub it in any further.

Just tell them, it doesnt matter what they do to you, it wont change the fact the Blues pumped the bummers on Sunday :smoking:

About half way through, if he is being really punishing, stop after a set and look him in the eyes and say:

"You're really giving me a thrashing.....the sort of thrashing Carlton have given Essendon* the last two times they've played"

No Essendon* supporters at my work.
Probably because I refuse to hire them.

I thought you aren't allowed to discriminate against anyone, regardless of their disability
