I have no issue with them playing the waiting game and seeing if they could maybe squeeze a few games out of him. But I'm glad this is settled and he can focus on 2012.

The less than optimistic tone on Gibbs may be of more concern.

We had decided today was decision time and following further consultations with Jarrad and the medical staff this afternoon it was decided time had run-out on Jarrad being able to make a significant contribution this season,” said General Manager Football Operations, Jarrad Waite.

Jarrad Waite runs footy ops now?

So that was the problem? Too much self-consultation?

Bizarre reversal from the club. Obviously they were monitoring it day by day, and had booked the surgery, but surely you can work out the point of no return?

If people were infuriated with the club playing funny buggers before, I think they've just turned up the BS to 11.

With Waite back from the dead, I still give Gibbsy a show of playing tonight - surely that is just a body double at TEAC Oval to put the Weagles off the scent

Or does Pratt Air travel at Mach 2?

So far hes receiving no treatment during the game and no discomfort. *touch wood* that continues.

If he gets thru this he has to be seriously considered next week as a sub against cats if we get over eagles.

Was good early today, but was phased out completely by the end. No way should he be considered if we win tonight, unless we're at Defcon 1 injury-wise.

Would you rather Marcus Davies or Jarrad Waite as a sub?
