So there I was, extremely fired up at the start of the game (following a liquid lunch), game starts and we were dominating but not converting. Several guys sitting directly behind me (Blues supporters) were being extremely negative and making me extremely on edge. I admit I stepped over the line by pretty much abusing them and acting like a crazy man.

It wasn't until half time that I discovered that they frequent this forum, I was too ashamed to tell them what I post under.

I apologise (but wish you would lighten up in future). THE GLASS ISN'T HALF EMPTY!!!!

Now reveal yourselves please .........

I think I overstepped the line when I said "you're father and son aren't you?" because you both whine the same way (or words to that effect).

The father insisting that Judd has a foot injury was rather annoying also.

We did exchange high fives at one point but no hugs.

kingkerna - no need to apologize. Clearly you just had an encounter with Carlton God. All sins forgiven.

I believe the son was a surgeon, he didn't say much but his dad said that Kreuzer is out for the season.

I guessed that one was Josh K, but he said nope. JohnM cracked a mention also.

Was he wearing a mask? Do we have a poster with the handle 'BlueSurgeon'?

Haha, JohnM would be more insulted now than whoever it was then.

Having said that, I get the shits at negavtive flowers at the footy too. I just keep it to myself.

Wasn't me.

When we miss easy goal after goal (like we did against Hawthorn) I just put my head in my hands and groan. I think I may have uttered "jesus.h.christ is there any danger of someone f***ing kick a f***ing goal"... but that would've been mostly to myself. And the only Carlton player I've ever had anything bad to say about at a game was Mick Martyn. Didn't take too kindly to our club being used as a charity for washed-up old North players.

Wouldn't mind being a surgeon though. I've always wanted a few acres of Pinot on the Mornington Peninsula (with someone on the payroll to do the winter pruning of course).

when they aske me who I was I wouldn't tell them but I did mention that I don't like Bower, thought that would have given it away.

A mate of mine who supports the Eagles told me that when they were challenging hard on Saturday all the filth supporters were crapping their tracksuit pants and squealing in hysterics, kicking seats, etc.

We were with Blues supporters in M11 (next to Bombers in M9/10) which was great, but we had some flower in front of us, who despite presumably paying for his seat spent much of the match standing and eventually when the beers got the better of him , continuously abusing Scum supporters as they were leaving. I love banter that makes some attempt at humour, but with a vocabulary limited to words of between 3 and 5 letters it wasn't a good look. Got a late warning from security but damage had been done.

Managed to get Mrs mjs to the game (only one this year for her so far), but don't think I'll be able to get her back. A few others near us were similarly unimpressed.

Otherwise, very impressed and pleased with overall team effort yesterday. No passengers indeed.

Hi king kerna,

I was the one furthest from you...and even though I cannot speak on behalf of my brother or father (I'll let them reveal themselves) ..I am sure they took no offense.

We were all on edge...particularly at the 15 minute mark. It had been a long week and a long ten years and we all express our passion in different ways.

It was a pleasure to spend such a special afternoon with you and your mates...and I look forward to seeing you in the AFL members section cheering the blues on against the cats in a couple weeks time...

May we share even happier days in September (and october) in the coming years.

Go blues !

Ah, you were the level headed one, don't look like your brother or father though and could have quite easily clobbered me. Had to laugh when you were calling for us to try and save the game when we were 8 goals up, then complaining when we started chipping it around. Good times.

Did you notice the spit flying out of my mouth all over the Essendon* supporters in front of me? I couldn't even yell properly.
