So how do we go about things this week?

Will it be a normal week on the track or a heavier load to compensate for the lack of match practice?

Which players can we expect to see in the Bullants?

Murphy was on Before the Game and he is off to the sunshine coast for a few days. He mentioned that Robbo has gone home to Tassie for a break.
So it appears that the senior players now have a few days off and will probably return to the club around mid week.
Players needing game time will no doubt play for the Bullants, i expect Jamo will play this weekend along those returning from injury.

While a few days off is great, I think there need to be extra time on the track once they resume, in the form of skills sessions. I'd like them to practice f50 entries, when to play on from the kick-out, and a handball drill that actually improves their ability to handball under pressure, and receive pressured handballs.

The bye has come at a perfect time for us, in time to refresh the guys and refocus for the finals.

It certainly has. The effect of 14 or so weeks without a break shouldn't be underestimated.

agree totally on these 3 points Jimmae, its holding us back. And on the forward entries, make sure foewards are there and in the correct position ready to receive, the amount of times the ball carrier had to double back because we had noone forward of the ball was crazy.

Only one. You see, because there's no opponent, once we kick the behind, no-one can kick out, so we'll just sit around waiting after that.

well i'll be slapping $20 of my hard-earned on the BYE this week, an insurance bet!
Our first encounter was a tight one, and i can't see us kicking a winning score this time.
Bye at $4.25 is massive overs :hitcomputer: :screwy:

The week off and finishing fifth isnt such a bad combination. Fourth and a week off would be better though

Much as the team are looking like they need a rest, I hate the bye.

Then wouldn't it be 4 behinds, 1 for each quater ???

I wouldn't mind a day of goal kicking at the MCH (we will THANKFULLY not be playing at Ethihad again this season !!!!!!!!)

The Bye has some confidence after their win against Port Adelaide and even though they were thumped by 200 points against Geelong, they saw how brittle the Blues were under pressure on Friday night and feel that if the Carlton players are too relaxed during the break they can catch them off guard.

In saying that Betts relishes playing against no opponent and is likely to kick about 8 goals and Carlton will win comfortably.

I'd be much more confident not playing at the MCG but the AFL has us not playing at Etihad.

I heard it was going to be a return to traditional footy with us not playing at Princes Park.
