What does everyone think about this for an idea?

Go to the AFL and GWS and put forward the following deal.

Over the next X number of years we,

Play GWS twice a year in sydney selling one of our home game for a few hundred gorillas.

Also play Sydney in Sydney each of those years.

We get to play GWS twice a year get some cash and also have the ability to sell three game memberships in a big market.

We give up very little but get a lot. The AFL and GWS also get big promotion from a big club in an area where they desperately want it.

win win

As long as we're selling one of the Etihad home games then I think it's worthh considering.

The AFL will make sure we move one of our MCG games there, you can take that to the bank.
Selling home games also devalues your memberships!
Big no from me now and always on selling home games.

Richmond fans wish they hadn't sold their home games against the Gold Coast and Port Power.

If the X number of years is 2 while we're strong and GWS are sh!t I'm all for it.

this.
the fixture has never been more crucial to a teams fortunes. if we can find someway to guarantee two walkover wins a season we'd be crazy not to.

@#$%&! off

is that clear enough for you?

Three year deal turns into a 5 year deal and all of a sudden we are losing games up there for bugger all benefit.

If it's for financial gain then we need to have long term plans not short term fixes.

Is KK a father? Why has this been kept so quiet.

Someone PM Budzy - the communications around here sucks!

Killer idea, if it replaces an Etihad home game.

Do the deal for 3 years, that's 8 premiership points guaranteed.

Looking at the club dispassionately, you'd do it in a heartbeat. Good for onfield (guaranteed wins) good for business, and good for supporters who might miss a home game, but enjoy a bonus win which could make the difference between finishing 3rd and top 2.

Other than the financial deal what is the problem with Edihad?

From over here in the west it looks awesome compared to our embarrasing Subiaco facilities.

Having never been there and only ever seeing it on tv it's hard to workout the negative vibe.
