Kicking for goal just kills us. Has to be addressed. I know Hawthorn had 10.18 but that's not our problem. We must look after what we can control.

The good shit is Hawthorn are [REDACTED] based on that performance. Absolutely no @#$%&! way they will make the grand final, let alone win it.

No excuse for that first half. Absolutely disgusting half of football.

Thought we were well and truly past that? Evidently not as the Hawks exposed us once more on the big stage.

Have we truly improved? Who the hell knows?

Reckon 8th will well and truly fancy their chances. That's a sad indictment on us.

So, so disappointed.

That first half was as cowardly as it comes. Betts, Garlett, Carrazzo & Ellard should be ashamed of their output.

I've only seen the first half so i'll recerve judgement but it's hard to kick straight when you are scared.

hopefully we learn from that

lower our eyes

and take something away from the second half

and use the first half as a massive kick in the ass of not what to do for the rest of the season

Nah, we hould beat Sydney easily - although it WILL be at the Dome right? :yikes: .

If we get through that, I reckon we can knock off the coasters.

It's all well and good to talk the talk about how you're not scared of big bad Hawthorn anymore. But if you're going to spend the first quarter fumbling the ball, back peddling, and generally looking over your shoulder, and nobody's prepared to run through a hawks player to make a point, then what the flower is the point?

Whether we like it or not we are in the finals. Best to move on from tonight.
Learn what we can and focus on that first final. All is not lost. Some of our more fragile players will take a bit from tonight.

The flood back and counter teams are the ones that really bother us. The saints will pull that stunt for sure so done expect an easy round 24. From there we should be clear of that tactic unless they swans try it.

Jamo four contested marks inside F50. Maybe we should keep him there and send Waite to defence.

Have to live with this for 2 weeks too.

WA is going to suck big time when the Eagles win tomorrow. flower does my head in. Even moreso when the boys play like girls for a half.

In a way tonight confirms what we knew in our hearts all along, we're not there yet.
- We're still fragile when teams hit us hard
- We still pick and choose when to give our all
- We still look to others to set the example
- We still can't kick for goal
- We still make critical errors at crucial times

12 pts really does flatter us.

Sums it up for me.

In some ways the second half just makes it hurt more.

Can I say the F word, because it is all that I am thinking!
