Paul Roos: I won't coach again

Quote:
SYDNEY premiership coach Paul Roos has declared his AFL coaching days over.

Roos, who led the Swans to their first premiership in 72 years in 2005, was believed to be on Adelaide's shortlist to replace coach Neil Craig.

There had also been speculation he would take over at Carlton from Brett Ratten.

...

"I don't want to coach ever again. I can't see myself doing it," Roos said. "My view has changed a little bit from the time I left the Swans.

"Then I thought, I might go back one day, but I'm enjoying what I'm doing so much these days that coaching isn't something I'm thinking about doing ever again.

Quote:
"I'm not interested in coaching Adelaide or any other AFL side, so I'm definitely not putting myself forward for any coaching roles."

Doesn't get much more definitive than that.

So can people stop going on about how he is in the frame to take over from Ratts?

Didn't Gillard say something about no carbon tax too.

For what it's worth I don't want him anyway.

Your know I used to have a thing for Jessica Alba. For a while there I thought we could rekindle things but she hasn't called.

Now I realise it's over and I'm never going back there. I might tweet that later today just so the everyone knows I don't want her.

Oh, and by the way, Carlton apparently has a few high draft picks too.

And I turned the radio on today at half time in the Scum Vs Filth game and the very first thing
I heard? How "courageous" Essendon* had been.

Doesn't matter what Paul says, if Tami told him she wanted to move to Melbourne next year and was fine with her husband and two boys moving cities, house and schools as they enter their final years of secondary schooling - then chances are we would have a new coach in 2012 called Paul Roos. She's probably not going to say that. She's played 'footy widow' for too long. She has a life in Sydney that Melbourne can't replicate. If ain't about Paul Roos as much as it is Tami, Dylan and Tyler Roos. Very different from Hird.

It's not the uni's it is the gay mardi gras that is holding them back.
