Mark Robinson tweeted about an alleged sling tackle by Judd (he didn't see it but 'heard' about it...quality social media journalism).

Anyone see anything?

Yep, I saw it and thought it may be looked at. The saving grace is it was'nt so much a sling with outstretched arms but a strong, in close tackle that saw the Saints player buried into the turf (from memory)
I know the explanation isn't very good but hopefully you'll get the jist when you see it.
Not a lot of difference to the tackle that broke Curnows collarbone.

I remember seeing it and thought it may be a problem.

I can't really see it going any further though.

He'll be fine. Mark Robinson is just bored with his beloved Bombers having the bye.

Someone on Twitter sent a message to a handful of AFL journos about this apparent Ferocious tackle. Robinson obviously took the bait, it was the opening story on the Sunday morning show he is on. Even though he admitted not actually seeing the incident! Smells like a bit of a witch hunt to me.

Football is officially dead if this gets looked at

(But of course it won't anyway, Juddy being an "umpire's pet" and all  )

Yep, watch the Herald Sun jump all over this one. Media-agenda driven bullshit.

There were at least four other similar tackles last night. If that one gets examined they all should.

Robbo just saw it with the panel on gameday and they all call Judd safe.

Here we go.... As stated above, watch the Bummers loving media jump all over this and virtually force the MRP to look at it....

Judd just saw the ball falling out of the perverts hands and pulled him away to make sure he dropped it. Judd did this so well that he made sure the pervert didnt get hurt.

This tackle should be used as an example of how to tackle someone hard and avoid head injury.

He never pinned his arms either so Gilbert had something to break his fall and Judd kinda let him go when he realised he had dropped the ball. I agree with above should be used as a coaching tool nothing to worry about.

Given that it's the one singular motion, I'm not even sure it can be considered a sling tackle?
