- Waite injury could be 3-4 weeks, needs an operation
- played a bit too safe, Dogs were more bold
- have to deal with injury, O'hAilpin won't play this week
- Kreuzer has his ups and downs, will work with him, works hard with Capuano
- (Walker only 6 goals against top 8 teams) has played roles against top teams so not too critical, but he and whole fwd line didn't apply enough pressure against Dogs
- need to get run into game, spread better, can't play safe against Pies, take game on
- said (our) Murphy was best on ground, we had more possessions, but they were better
- didn't have Judd in votes
- reckons Murph and Judd extremely close in B&F so far
- Robbo is fitter, playing better, probably expect too much from young kids
- (Duigan) haven't really looked at that type of senior player before, outside normal recruiting circles, might keep looking
- spent more time getting to know players, rehab, life outside of footy etc
- 2nd year of leading teams; group speaking more honestly all round
- (coaching pressure) think we can win every game, regret games that get away, but try to address really quick
- (Hampson, Krooz, Warnock) Hammer showed form, hs developed, 206 playing okay, let's see
- group has improved, Yaz, Robbo, Jamo, Hammer, Laidler been good, aim is to win a final

Not the best of notes, but tapped away as best I could. Missed the first few questions, but was mostly informal birthday stuff etc IIRC.

Geez Mikey asks some dumb questions. The point about thinking we can win every game came from a leading question about the Bulldog and Eagles games being ones that got away.

He's improved 100% in the way he speaks in the media this season.

Thanks for that!

Sounds like a very polite response re: 206.
Sounds like he's not in the good books.
Still, Robbie has time to earn his spot before Hammer comes back.

Anyone ask him why Walker played with food poisoning and Waite with a groin?

That's why we lost.

That would imply he had more than a passing awareness of our playing stocks and performances. I reckon one of the reasons why they get such stupid/boring questions is because they simply don't have the kind of intimate interest/knowledge that can generate genuinely interesting questions.

If these 2 had have missed because of these issues & we lost, people would be questioning why they weren't both played (since they're both crucial to our structure). Plenty of players go into games with niggles, it's a risk all teams take. In the case of Waite, we clearly lack a strong target when he doesn't play & as for Walker, come on, missing because of food poisoning... He's a paid professional, I'd be disappointed if a teammate pulled out for that reason in local footy..

Thought he was very cool on Warnock's form, not the words of a coach satisfied with how a player's going.

Sounds like if Hammer could get back to his pre-injury form, Robbie would be wearing the red and white for a while.

Really? Seriously? Ever had food poisoning? Vomited for 2 days leading up to the game allegedly. At one point in the last, Walker was canned by the commentators for not putting in a decent chase. Seemingly lacked energy, I wonder why.

No doubt it impacted his performance. I guess my point is that it's highly unlikely a player will pull out of a game for that reason. If the player is saying he wants to play, it's difficult for the club to still omit him. I don't think the club deserves any heat over these issues.
