Nice to be in the game the whole way and keep it close. I think we showed a bit.

Disappointing to lose.

just so frustrating

crucial errors at critical times

odd selections and odd sub too

Given we haven't been flying, interesting for our off field team. Would have learnt a bit from this..

I thought Bower was pretty good once he came on too, would have been nice to have his run out there earlier.

Hopefully thats the end of the tall sub.

The effort was there and we did have a crack.

Just not good enough.

We really are falling down up forward. Getting very little out of Warnock and Kreuzer in terms of F50 marks.

Watson had an absolute shocker I'm afraid.

Turnovers from kicks ins were very, very poor.

Don't get much out of honourable losses. We've moved on from there. Well I hope we have...

Take away Watson's crap kicking out that cost us three goals and Garlett's three posters and we win.
We played absolutely shite footy for four quarters and still lost by less than 4goals.
We can beat them.
They killed us around the packs, though and EVERY kick under pressure went straight to them.
Cloke is a monster and unless we find a way to stop him, goodbye nurse every time.

Could we have played more sh1t if we tried.?

Is there any hope at all our guys could contest a mark.?

and Ratts can you work out the fckn kick ins or at least work on trying to stop JUST ONE Collingwood kick in, ONE, it's not much to ask.?

If the cameo crew had bothered to have a go in the first half we might have had a chance.

and really happy to see the guy's who did the least continue to do the least for the last 5 minutes while Judd, Murph, Simmo, Scotto, Gibb, Krooz all bust their ar5e right until the final siren.

Watson is two years of being a defenders ar5echeek.

Apart from that, a good effort and the Pies are absolutely ripe for the picking come finals, but since we are not likely to be top 4 then it won't be us that jumps them in the GF.

Well done Wayde Twomey, if that's the worst game you ever play for us then I'll be happy. Just one flower up.

Curnow 8 poss's
Ellard 10 poss's

Managed to catch the last quarter - MPH78 summed it up for me. Just lacked polish when it counted. Waite will make such a difference. Much better effort then last week. The Pies are good.

We just need to make sure we get across Essendon* next week.

Watson needs to be allowed to just kick long and with penetration.

We miss Hampson over Warnock, especially as he took contested pack marks or crashed packs.

Waite, Jamo will make a big difference.

Since when has a team hit he post 6 friggin times in a game... Grrrr....
Main things I got from the game
- Matthew Watson is way off senior AFL standard and shouldnt be played again this year
- Our kicking out from goal is still a worry, as is our decision making and disposal

Disappointing. We tried hard, but not hard enough really.

Too often the Pies were first to the ball and with too many numbers. That's got little to do with skill and talent and everything to do with desire and determination.

Scoreboard flattered us I reckon. True reflection would be 36pts+.

Need to develop/recruit a few KPPs.

Curnow looked very underdone, we just keep rushing these guys into the seniors, we will probably throw Setanta straight in next week too :screwy:

Hard to get a gauge how to feel about this. If you told me beforehand we'd lose by three goals I would've taken that. But having said that, we didn't play well. We were careless, lazy at times, and lacking in composure at crucial times. So the result itself isn't as bad as it could've been, but our performance itself wasn't good enough.

Collingwood weren't their best today either (a fact I'm sure their supporters will remind us of at every opportunity), and should've iced us. In terms of ability, decision-making and teamwork they were a 7-8 goal better side, but they just couldn't put it on the board.

But then again, we couldn't either.

Very bizarre feeling.

Curnow didn't get much of the ball because he was tagging Pendlebury - FINALLY we gave the tagging role to someone else other than Gibbs.

Aaron Joseph should never have played...I still don't understand why Tuhoy was dropped.

Oh and why give the kick ins to a 3 gamer in such an important game for us??? :banghead:

We hit the post 6 times!

They kicked badly too; but we're not that far apart.

I thought we were nervous all day and second to the ball....they played in front and caught all of the miskicks.

We've nobody to take a mark in the forward line; we're relying on our 3 amigos too much; and other teams are awake to this weakness.

Duigan was great, and Twomey earned his place.

Giving many pies supporters thought we would lose by 100 plus points the scoreboard was ok.

Our application was concerning, we are not relentless and consistent. We need to put the foot on the pedal and leave it there.

I do know what you mean. But losing @#$%&! sucks so my main emotions are anger, disappointment and frustration.

As others have said, we just lack composure and polish when it counts. Pretty much kiss Top 4 goodbye too.
