Just wondering when our Etihad Stadium home ground deal runs out? Im sure i speak for most Carlton fans when i say that we should be playing home games at the MCG, not at Etihad. Not sure if its been asked or if the answer has been posted before, which im sure it has, but i never seen it. |

2014 or 2015 IIRC. I think I answered this the other day; might be 2014. |

Quote: Carlton's loss to the Dogs was its 10th defeat at Etihad Stadium in its past 17 matches there. Great place to watch footy in winter when its windy/cold/raining, not so good when our record there is ave. |

Everyone wants to play at the G (maybe bar the doggies). Not everyone will be able to switch to the G. We're in a good position given our drawing power, but people are kidding themselves if they think the pies Tiges and dees hawks etc are all going to happily give up MCG slots to accomodate us. There is more capacity to play more games at the G, but it won't be as simple as: Etihad contract over, now switch us to the G Demetrispew & give us the $$. Plus our window is opening - we want to win a premiership before the deal ends. Just accept it & win regardless |

Just accept it & win regardless Hawthorn can flower right off given their Tassie connection so who cares what they think or what they say if we get more G games. I reckon it s almost as simple as movin when Etihad is up. Its has been on the cards for a while, we already play a number of home games there and the G would like the money a team like Carlton brings. I reckon the mix will be 7-4 or 8-3 into the future with the interstate teams drawn at Etihad. Unless of course they offer us crazy money to stay. |

Is there a suggestion that if we were to move away from etihad, that somehow we will become a better side? Another weak excuse I reckon, good teams win anywhere anytime |

BTW last week was the Dog's home game. We don't get to pick our away venues. Collingwood does though |
