It's a tag we have to wear until we take a big scalp.
I don't agree with it but it's out there on talkback radio and Robbo suggested as such in The Tackle.
We failed against WCE and Collingwood and choked against geelong and Essendon* where we should have won well. Sydney remains the only top 8 team we have beaten. The Filth fans have taken note and are spreading it on the airwaves.
We have Collingwood in 2 weeks, Freo in Perth then Hawthorn in rd 22. We need to win 2 of those 3.

I think we'll lose all 3 of those, and probably another one somewhere... on ladder predictor that has us finishing 5th.

Last year we "only" beat Geelong and St Kilda from the top 8, who were both top 4 sides and got bollocked for not beating the middle of the pack teams like Hawthorn, Norf, Freo, Sydney, etc.

This year we are slowly (as the season is still going) beating the middle of the pack teams and getting bollocked for not having a top 4 win (yet - the friggin season is still going)

Don't care if we lose them all, as long as we beat them in the finals

We're third and Essendon* is a fart inside the 8 yet Essendon* are heroes because Geelong capitulated and we're just another shit team.

Hilarious.

What's worse - losing to West Coast or losing to Essendon*? I'd say losing to Essendon* is worse.

I personally hate the scum more.

Im glad we are being labelled as such. Hopefully it spurs the boys to be ruthless for the rest of the season and prove they can mix it with the top sides.

With Dawes out for 4-6 weeks, i think we can snatch a win against the filth too. But we absolutely must destroy the dogs this week!

If we'd beaten Geelong it would have been written off as the Cats having an off night anyway. Can't win either way.

Its the usual trend, we reach a level and then get criticised for not being a level above that.

If we win 3 flags in a row it will all be how we aren't a patch on the Brisbane 01-03 team, or the current Geelong team, or as brave as Essendon* :screwy:

Mind you this criticism always happens to most sides generally, depends on their supporter base. If Essendon* had the same record as us, we would be accusing them of the same thing.

You can't help what people write or say.

I just feel like we are waiting, with swords at the ready, to ambush an unsuspecting side.

I don't think we'll beat the Pies, but I don't think anyone else will get close to us for the next few weeks.

I have a feeling that Richmond will bring Essendon* back to earth this weekend.

Everyone thought we would choke in 95. Everyone doubts a side until they actually achieve the ultimate.

Good sides bury sides below them!
Good sides push or beat top sides above them!
The best sides have no-one above them!
We have become a good side, all we have to do is beat 2 sides above us!

If that was someone from TC who rang in SEN and had a go at Robbo, then well done you!!
You spoke really well, and called him on his questionable turnaround concerning our boys.

He says its important that teams have most of their 22 playing, no matter what coaches say...
but when its Carlton against WC..that doesn't matter.

I would love to see the stats with number of games played, and players ages for
Us
Bombers
West Coast
Collingwood
Hawks.

Would be great to see where that is at.
Hirdy goes on like he has a super young team that can't be expected to do anything for some time. Is that actually true?
We are supposed to be able to knock off teams above us..with a supposed fully mature team. Is that true?

How does one get access to that kind of info?
and can anyone here show us all that data?

Which is why I don't rate Freo. They are "toy" side, not a real one.

The title is justified at the moment and I'm happy we've got it. It'll make Robbo even more determined than ever (once someone explains to him what it means  ).

We fell across the line against the crows, only just beat the Saints, choked against the Cats, drew against the super brave bombres and capitulated against the pies and weagles.

We need to do a good job of the Dogs this week and be at least competitive against colonwood. That should set us up for a crack at the top 4 and peak in September.
