On Marc Murphy (http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/tackle)

"Ran Jarrad McVeigh ragged through three quarters yesterday, and should be in the Brownlow votes behind Matty Kreuzer. He's emergence this year as a genuine A-grader makes the draft of 2006 a pain in the butt to re-do: Murphy, Pendlebury, Thomas, Kennedy were among the first five. I'd go, 1. Pendlebury. 2. Thomas. 3. Murphy. 4. Kennedy".

Are you f#$kin kidding me??? I wouldn't put Daisey in the top 10 of that Draft, little own ahead of Smurph. I've always seen Daisey as a sh-t version of Ryan Houlihan but because he plays for scum he has to be a star. People tend to forget he was on the brink of being delisted only 1 1/2 years ago.

Don't worry, next year it will be Murf (the 2011 Brownlow sorted that out) Kennedy, Pendles and Thomas bringing up the rear as the shock loss of the 2011 Grand Final throws the whole Collingwood loomotive of the tracks.

He makes sense. After this year, when Murph has starred in a GF like Thomas and Pendlebury have, he'll be first.

But you're takin' the piss, right? I'm tired today and not up to concentrating on much, little own understanding subtleties like this!

Why does Murphy have to star in a GF to be rated as high as Thomas and Pendlebury?

Skilton never won a flag.

By that rational, you would rate Sidebottom, Dawes and Goldsack higher than Yarran, Kennedy and Jamison.

Kennedy is a more complete player than Dawes.

Better mark.

Sorry, but since when do we give a shit what Robbo says. No credibility, just a shite journo that thinks he's 'in the know' and has the 'inside word' on everything and calls players by their nicknames. Forget about this crap.

You misunderstand grasshopper. I don't rate them higher than Murph. But it makes sense that non-Carlton people do. The three of them are guns - I think we all agree on that. And there's not a lot to distinguish them. I, personally, think that Murph is the best of them, but when it's all said and done, they're all pretty good, they've all demonstrated that they're matchwinners, and two of them have done it on the biggest stage.

Let me ask you one. Riewoldt is a gun isn't he? But you know what? His little brain fade in the first quarter of the 2nd GF (when he played on in the goal square) just might have cost his team a premiership - a real momentum swinger. That's high on my list of attributes. See all things being equal, Riewoldt is a better player than Mark Maclure ever was. But I'd take Sellers in a heartbeat!!! Why? Because he performed in GFs - EVERY TIME. And Riewoldt has failed. EVERY TIME.

Now, I'm a little strange, because I'd also take Sheldon, Buckley and Marcou over Skilton for the same reason. Go figure, eh??!

Oh, and I forgot to add. I have no doubt when the time comes, Murph will star in the GF. I have a feeling we won't have long to wait and see.....

People here are so precious.

"Dermie said the Hawks have a better midfield than us - Waah waahh"
"Robbo says Daisy is better than Murph - waah waahh"

Stiff shit. Who cares??
If Caro wants to say Jake King is better than Garlett, she is entitled. It's all opinion. Move on and worry about something real, like who's playing on Kerr Sunday.

You have it wrong. The question is, who will Kerr play on this Sunday?

I'm all for discussing things but taking it personally because Robbo thinks Daisy is a better player than Murph is ridiculous.
I'll back murph any day but seriously who cares??
Probably 1/2 the journos would agree with him anyway. It's not outrageous to say it. even it was, everyone has different eyes and a different brain.

I used to laugh at Collingwood supporters for the same thing. i remember one year a Filth fan frothed and yelled at Mike Sheehan for putting Voss above Buckley in his top 50. It was as if you'd called his mother a dirty s&*t.
