Hendo's first quarter last week was fantastic and if you have another look at his third quarter today it was pretty bloody good too.

At the moment he's doing exactly what he should be doing which is showing a big gap between his best and his worst and only having it all click occasionally.

With the exception of Jonathan Brown and Dermott Brereton that's pretty much the development arc for a young key forward.

He's easily shown enough to keep him in the ones for the time being and if we want to be a dominant side of the next five years then it's a whole lot more likely to happen with Hendo at CHF than anyone else currently on the list.

If you only touch the football once in 60mins of game time when the ball was kicked to you between 10 - 15 times then you deserve to be bronx cheered when you finally are able to make a contribution to the team.

Pros: We won another.

Cons: Very few because when we have a winning streak like this we need to be posititve. We can only play who they put on the field in front of us, and perform accordingly enough to get the 4 points. Just my opinion though.

A bronx cheer isn't the worst thing that can happen to a player. It's usually meant in good humour.

We were awesome and made a good team look second rate.

Cons

We are short of a Gorilla in the backline to really make Collingwood and Geelong hear footsteps. Dawes Cloke Vardy and Pods are going to test us. Swans would have scored 3 less goals in the last qtre had our backline been better in the air

Next week is a test for our backline

The match committee should consider Setanta as a permanent Centre half back. If his disposal holds he is the only player with the strength to hold our the big forwards. There is a tremendous risk of an opposition coach drawing Jamison out of the play and isolating Thornton and others on one on ones.

Someone have Mick Martyn's number?

Disagree. The defensive intensity in our guys dropped plenty in the last.

Pros:

Kreuzer was incredible today. I'd forgotten what a difference he can make to our side.
Yarran was scintillating. Made a huge difference when he came onto the ground.
Tackling was fantastic.
Nice to have a very comfortable win without dominating at the clearances and inside 50s. (We're only 5 goals behind Geelong on percentage now, which says a lot about how we've been going in comparison to them. Very, very close.)
Carrazzo. Loved some of his pinpoint delivery into the forwardline.
Hammer another terrific game. We slaughtered them in the rucks. Shame about his injury.
Robbo again did some incredibly good things today.
Umps not falling for the ducking/diving/cheating of Goodes, McGlynn and Bolton.
Good second half from Henderson.

Cons:

Sloppy, lazy final 15 minutes. Took the gloss off a little.
Robbo gave around 3 goals away near the end with stupid turnovers in the stoppages around their centre half forward area. Also don't like seeing him trying to pinpoint an option when coming out of defensive 50.
Mumford's sling tackle on Ellard.
Watching Sydney play their tedious, defensive, hope for a turnover and try to score on the rebound footy. You've got to admire their honesty and consistency and work ethic, but gee they're boring to watch.

Pros:

Keruzer - stamping himself as a legitimate contender to being the number 1 ruckman in the AFL. He was outstanding today.
Murphy - Great game he was clearly the best midfielder on the park
Ability to kick 13 goals to 1 over two quarters against a team that fancied it chances today!

Cons:

Hampson injury, hope it is not serious. I think on that form he is in front of Warnock for a spot in the team.

Another one of your comedic gems Dane

Again you show that you offer little in terms of AFL football discussion on a AFL football fan forum.

I am not interested in your juvenile taunts and trolls of my posts. I come here to talk footy.

What garbage. Besides, if you'd actually watched the game closely, you would have seen that Hendo in the first half had some terrible delivery, and also in a number of contests he was 1 on 2 or 1 on 3. He was better in the second half.

Henderson failed to present in the first half. This is why most of the kicks that were directed his way were long bombs where he was out numbered 2-1. In the 2nd half he got on his bike and ran into space to create, thus enjoying the fruits of winning more possessions.

Hampson injury.
Taking the foot off in the last, although injuries hurt us.
The peanut sitting a couple of rows behind me who spent most of the game bagging Henderson.
The kid sitting behind me who cried out "Go Sydney" in her shrill little girl voice every 10 secs for the entire match. I wish I was exaggerating.

Special mention to Adam "Appeals for the free" Goodes just for being an unlikeable flower.
