For years they have charted kicking efficiency and will continue to do so. But those pure efficiency figures can sometimes give a slant towards defenders who gain high readings by chipping to unmarked teammates at short range. This year, Champion Data has employed two extra statisticians at each match to chart the "Hit Rate" - the percentage of kicks that hit targets taking into account the difficulty of the kick. I went to my psychiatrist and told him I hated living with my mother in law. He suggested I ask my wife to talk to her and to go for a 5 km walk with her every day. I went back to see him a couple of weeks later and he wanted to know if Iwas getting on better with my mother in law. I told him I was, and also with my wife but I hadn't seen them for two weeks. By my reckoning, I said, they should be 70 km away by now. |
