Interesting that teams are always flat after a bye. This has been the case both times the AFL has had a bye in the roster in recent times.
This year, even Collingwood got done after their bye.

Guess who has the bye in Round 23, the week before the finals?

here's my theory...
We have the saints in rd24
by then they'll be tanking for picks
by then we'll have sewn up a top 4 berth
= TRAINING RUN

Bye at rd23 will be a nice freshen up

Sorry to disappoint those fans with a victim mentality, but there is a round 24, and Essendon* has the bye that round. Almost makes worth dropping out of the 4 enticing

We play Saints round 24, should be a good preparation for finals I would think. We come into finals fresh but not dozy.

Out of interest, I wonder how many teams have lost a prelim after winning week 1 and getting a week off?

We'll either have our spot consolidated and it won't matter, or we'll be playing to cement it and we'll be switched on, especially if it means stomping out the Saints finals hopes.

Warnock was not concussed when he had that shot. He had delayed concussion which occurred 30mins after the game was over. Warnock choked under pressure, this is why he missed that set shot.

You have to bow down to Dr Hotcox intimate knowledge of Warnock's health at that point in the game.

Robbie's face was a study in 'green around the gills.'
Poor lad.

To be quite honest I'm not sure even a healthy Robbie would have kicked the goal. Just sayin..

I think he would have, he's a decent kick for his size.

I just can't believe people blame him for that. Pretty sad really.

That explains why he looked like he was going to pass out just seconds being it lying on the ground..
