So we are nearing the half-way mark of the season, and this seems like the first year in a while that the B&F race is actually heating up!

Who do you think is winning?

I'm thinking logically that Marc Murphy is up there fighting it out with Judd, and assuming no injuries, this might just be Murph's year!

Smokies:
Duigan?
Gibbs?
Jamo?
Laidler?

Scotland and Simpson would be in the top 5 atm.

Judd and Murphy fighting it out at the top.

Jamison would be third.

Laidler, Gibbs, Garlett, Curnow & Waite would be rounding out the top 10

Walker, Yarran, Warnock, Carrazzo, Duigan, Russell & Robinson all having good years as well

Betts would have polled votes against Sydney

Ellard would have polled votes against Adelaide

Thornton would have polled votes against Collingwood and Melbourne

I would expect Murphy & Judd to be neck & neck at the moment. I think Gibbs & Carrazzo will be polling well because they so the job the match committee asks of them, and will be rewarded for this. Garlett & Scotland would be up there too.

I think Russell would be lucky to be in the top 10 so far as this year - nothing against his form - but the form of other defenders means he only has to do his job now (which is the way it should be).

I'm not sure Simpson would be in the top 5; he started slowly, but he's had a few votes particularly in the two games where he kicked a few goals.

1/2: Judd, Murphy
3-5: Scotland, Jamison, Gibbs
6-10: Garlett, Walker (playing his role in all but 2 games), Simpson (always starts slow), Waite, Yarran,
Just outside: Laidler, Curnow, Robinson, Carrazzo, Russell

Few votes: Hampson, Warnock, Setanta, Betts, Armfield, Thornton, Duigan, White, Joseph, Ellard

No votes: Lucas, Watson, McLean, Collins (except for Collingwood  ), Henderson

No games: Kreuzer, Bower, O'K, Austin, Mitchell, Cachia, Houlihan, Mcinnes, Davies , Kerr, Twomey, Tuohy
