Pro:

Judd
Murph
Robbo wanting to be there
Jamo continuing to improve as a rebounding rather than negating backman
never looking threatened
Injuries = opportunities against Port/Brisbane next two weeks

Con:

Never got out of second gear. I wanted to demolish them
I'm a McLean fan. Wanted us to recruit him. He looked a metre off the pace again tonight. Hope he can get it rolling again.
Injuries. Laidler will hurt. JR more so.
Hammer would be the best player in the league if he could catch the @#$%&! thing. Always gets first hands, never holds it. Still waiting but not as patiently as before!

What happened to the gloves?

They were really in vogue 5-10 years ago, but hardly anyone wears them now.

Hammer seems like a player who could really benefit.

Getting to so many marks is his undoing. Warnock doesnt get to any and his marking or lack of never gets mentioned.

Fair point. Warnock and Hammer should both be taking more marks for us. Our game plan involves kicking long to the tall timber out of defence much more often than in recent seasons so if they start plucking more marks, the gameplan becomes that much more effective.

I think that's why both Judd and Murph both spoke with such eagerness about the return of Kreuzer in a couple of weeks.

Hampson is 23 & Warnock is 24.

How long did it take Cox, Jolly & Sandilands to come good :?:

Jud
Murphy
Olivia Newton John
Robbo
Garlett almost kicking goal of the year with his run down the wing just on 3/4 time.

Some deadbeat (Carlton supporter) sitting right near us who bagged Murphy all night, must have been watching a different game.
Hampson's marking attempts

Pros
- 8 goal win without really trying
- Murphy.
- Irish
- Jeffy

Cons
- Shithouse game to watch
- Injuries
- Annoying Melbourne supporting Pom droning on about anything but the game all night then doing the old "Carlton haven't beaten anyone good" at about the 25 minute mark of the last quarter.

I know we all want him to succeed, but Brock is a massive concern. To me he looks the same as when he played last year, that the game has passed him by, and he looks out of sync with the rest of our team. I am sure injury has a massive amount to do with it, but his best footy was played in 2006, and that is now a very long time ago.

I would only be playing him if Curnow still isn't right next week. If Curnow is fit he is definitely in our best 22.

Is Adrian De Luca his marking coach?

I thought McLean's second half was OK. I'd give him another chance.

Murphy 145 DT. :thanks:

Judd and Murphy both could share the Brownlow.
