On paper, should be the first of many wins on the trot. We then play Port, Lions, Sydney, WC, Richmond. Don't want to get ahead of myself though. ![]() |

We play Sydney again so soon?? This AFL fixture is FLOURED. I think we should get past Melbourne pretty easily, by no means rest any players at all, full hard at the ball for 120 minutes of footy, Kreuzer should come back in, the question is, will Setanta or Warnock go out?? |

No way Kruezer will come back in. We should win this, and the following two games, comfortably. Forget the top 4 if that does not happen. Blues by 40 |

Its early but i would be going with this: Out: Judd (inj) Warnock Mclean Thornton In: Hampson Joesph White Henderson |

We should destroy them. But in the leadup, expect the blowtorch to be applied to them even more, and perhaps one or two character assassinations in the papers. |

All these ins and outs before the Bullants have even played. I was happy with Thornton tbh. But it all depends if there is a matchup for him at the Dees. |

Why would you even bother posting it? Why would/could we want to drop Warnock? How did Henderson go this week? Oh right bullants haven't even played... Maybe it's his form from last week? Nope he overpowered a couple of kids from frankston. Why would we play McLean for only one week? Is Judd injured? Has White been knocking down the door? Oh, has been injured? Why would you make wholesale changes to the team that played last night? |

In Hampson Thornton was ordinary last night - In White (He was named as a emergency against Geelong so he must be close to selection) Mclean was terrible thats why he was subbed - In Joesph Judd is apprentley injuried and wont be risked - In Henderson ( was named as a emergency against Geelong) Further to Henderson. I am taking the veiw that he will have a good game in the bullants and on the evdience i saw at Etihad last night (no doubt you were not at the game ![]() |

Well, I'll let you all in on a big secret. Hotcox isn't on the match selection panel. We need a big win. We say it every week but we really need a 8 goal+ win. We are playing a depleted Melbourne team. There is no reason we shouldn't win by at least 5 goals. Seriously I'll have my doubts about our top 4 credentials if we scrape through another one. |

doofdoof wrote: good way to completely destroy a bloke by dropping him after that hotcox The bloke is on big money. He is paid to execute and when you dont execute you should be punished. Let Warnock go back to the Bullants and work on his marking and goal kicking before returning to the side. Hampson would offer just as much as Warnock in the ruck. |

Coaching isn't about punishing. You don't punish players for missing goals. |

Regardless he should have been savvy enough to not take the kick. It looks like he has encountered delayed concussion from that hit. This further enhances my view that he should be rested for this game. |

If Robbie is bad enough to be sent to hospital and to still be there he should not play next Friday night based on that, not based on him fluffing the kick. Melbourne rucks are depleted and it is a good chance for Hampson to step up and gain back some of the confidence he seems to have lost. I will be disappointed if we don't have an easy win next week. |

Hampson would offer just as much as Warnock in the ruck. Many players made mistakes that potentially cost us the game. Do we drop them all? The duration of a game of football is approx 120 minutes so why the fixation of punishing guys who flowers up late in the 4th qtr. Same thing happened with Simmo against Esserdn and it shits me to no end. Although he should have done better with that kick, Warnock should have been kicking to put us 3-4 goals ahead with the domination we had, not scrounge a winner. This week I worry about us coming out flat after dropping the Geelong game. Coaching staff need to work on the mental side to make sure our boys come out firing and make the Dees pay. |
