INJURY UPDATE: Chris Judd injured his right ankle during the second quarter and returned to the game after half time and played the game out. Judd completed a recovery session at Visy Park this morning and he is expected to be available to play against Melbourne at the MCG next Friday night.

Initially I thought he might have had a bruised foot. The way he was running, favouring it had me leaning that way.

I had a similar injury playing soccer one day and my God it's debilitating, I can only imagine how bad a break would have been, I was shocked when the doctor said it was just heavily bruised. If that is the case, and his foot is bruised, he will not play this week. I couldn't walk for 5 days, couldn't run for just under a fortnight.

If its an ankle he'll tape it up and be right to go.

If it speeds up recovery and definitely if there is a chance of making it worse, we need to rest him. We can beat Melbourne for goodness sake without the great man.

Robbo said on Game Day Judd was very sore and hobbling at training this morning and did not train with the main group.

Judd's recovery session consisted of scrambled eggs on toast, bircher muesli and a latte. There's no definitive answer at the minute...decision clearer on Wednesday. 50/50. The better question is whether the club should err on the side of caution and give him a rest.
