CON:

Keyboard warriors will all have a field day on Ratts, Warnock, Judd etc because of one missed kick and one stupid pissy free.

PROS:
Won everything stat across the park
Duigan is a revelation(brain snap cost us but he's a passionate bloke and everyone would of said somethin similar to the umps, this ump just decided to snap)
Laidler showed geelong they made the wrong decision to play Milburn for another year.
Waite- Strong presence tonight
Judd- Stood up on one leg to spark the come back
Murph and Gibbs were awesome
Walks plays big, breaks packs
Tackling was impressive
Will improve with a few crucial players to return
Jamo- another scalp to add to the pile

CONS:
Warnocks kick but he isnt to blame, lots of others didnt take there chances
F@#$kin umpires lookin after Selwood, the bloke ducks into everything and then lifts the arm, shouldnt be encouraged
Army and Robbo not composed enough, both sprayed kicks in the last
WE LOST A GAME WE COULD/SHOULD OF WON

You will end up getting me banned if you post stuff like this because I'll breach rules 2.1 and 2.3...

He's a young ruckman with an immense workload and he's only had 1 solid preseason since he's been with us....

I applaud him for even making that contest to take that mark/get the free.....because he had obviously pushed himself to his absolute limits

Just because a man gets paid 400k doesn't make him super human.....

This shit upsets me and I wish I could say what I really thought :banghead:

Cons:

The Banjo strumming low breeds in the row behind me, don't know how many there were, but all stereotypes covered,

- The shrieking woman who knows nothing about footy and no other Carlton player except Judd.
- The insufferable know all who knows nothing
- The aggressive idiot, who thinks his team is getting slaughtered by the umps, but spends all game contradicting his opinions depending on who has the ball.
- And to top it all off the one eyed granny who SFA as well

I hate to say it but someone has had a massive FAIL with Brock and Collins so far. I hope they prove to be men of incredible insight on those decisions one day, but not looking promising. The decision to play Mitch as the sub and not Brock didn't look good in foresight, and worse in hindsight.

Pros:

Possibly the same people as above for getting Laidler
Our general work rate and tackling
Putting in such a good effort with Judd clearly hampered.

I'd grant you an immunity if I didnt think you'd go too far  Blaming big knockers is far too simplistic...agree with your thoughts 100%

PROS
We outplayed the top team who hasn't lost a game
Got some bloody good players to come back in
Judd limited impact in the second half, we still went on with it
Recruits: Laidler, Duigan
Murph, winning our BnF
Waite
Gibba, Simmo, Carrots

CONS
Maggots
Letting our shots get touched on the line
Too long for Carrots to go to Selwood
Army's marking of Varcoe
Our kicking into the forwardline
Judd getting injured
McLean not adjusting to the step up from VFL
Really missing one more tall

So many pros:

We were matching it with a top team at a finals intensity!
Not only that, when it looked like they were going to streak away with the momentum, we found ways to pull them back.
Although there were some matchups that didnt work, and some delayed moves, on the whole the matchday team seemed to be able to adjust and adapt.
We didn't rely on Judd
We did it in spite of atrocious umpiring
We did everything but have the confidence and poise to get over the line at the last minute

Cons:

Worried about Judd's injury... foot injuries can linger :/
Walker's silly indiscretion - was there anything in it? Will he have a case to answer?
