I think it looks darker (or more navy blue) on TV - looks very purple when you see it live at the ground and on supporters walking around.

Marketing - the 4 colour thing was/is hideous and has the added negative of having the anchor on it which WA people have always said has been "weighing down the club".

They have tried to go back to a more "traditional" strip.

I actually quite like it as a design (not so much the colour or what it represents) - the classic footy jumper.

Yeah but I don't see why that's an issue? Clubs have changed tones and designs over the years, some supporters will like them some wont - to use a cliche you can't keep everyone happy all the time!

This is the issue.......it's too close to the CFC guernsey.....much too close.

Lose the Citroënesque chevrons and I don't mind it.

I don't really like the white because it's obviously completely neutral but its certainly better than baby blue which is appalling. Putting the faint text over the white is a reasonable solution because it isn't a new colour and stops it from being pure white... if that makes sense.

Interesting that Ratts/Sticks hate it too.

No fan of the baby blue, but if they're going to play lazy, dumb insipid football like they did against St Kilda, then I'm glad they're not doing it in the navy blue.

I did. The receptionist or whoever answers their emails said they liked it and forwarded to Swann and Marketing Manager.

Won't hold my breath on seeing it on the field but I think anyone with a view on the jumper should let the club know - positive or negative. If nobody tells them how much they dislike the pale blue they will probably just run with it again next year.

There was a poll on the other site which currently shows 72% aren't in favour of the pale blue.

Maybe the club could put forward several options and let members vote on their website?
