And in no way shape or form did or does the colour in anyway resemble Purple - it doesnt even match the colour of their Purple socks.

The jumper that they ran out with last Friday Night was a dark (if not getting to) Navy Blue.

If it we were talking Black & White Stripes here then Fat Eddie would be going spare.

The fat turd at AFL House is self acknowledged colour blind and allowing Fremantle to use this colour "Purple" is ridiculous, if they want to be known as the "Purple Haze" they should use Purple not some shade of Blue.

I thought the Livestrong jumper looked great also.

I'm with you Donstuie - if its an away jumper or a clash jumper I dont really mind what colour it is - in the EPL you see Liverpool in Black with their 3rd alternate jumper, you see Arsenal in Blue with their 2nd or 3rd alternate jumper I dont have a problem with that.

I do have a problem with Fremantle who purport to have a Purple Home Jumper and strut out with a colour that in no way resembles Purple, THAT is taking the piss.

Maybe we could make the yellow one our home jumper and the old out of date navy strip our clash jumper. As long as the yellow one has a navy cfc there's still a connection to the past

Easy. They wear their grey one (as the home team), we wear our yellow one. All Yellow =/= Grey and a little Orange.

Or they wear the majority yellow one and we wear our...shock! Horror! Navy Blue one.

I mentioned this in another post, the anchor on their jumper now resembles our CFC monogram. Its a disgrace that the AFL have allowed this, but then am not surprised at anything anymore.

I'd like something like this, with the CFC monogram replacing the sponsors logo

I wrote this on a previous reply about wanting to buy 2 Small adult jumpers or large boys White away top with blue CFC logo (pre 2011 away strip) and have had absolutely no luck what so ever in finding one for sale. Does anyone know where might be able to buy them or does anyone have second hand ones for sale? Tried CFC shop, Nike factory smith st, AFL shops, EBay. Appreciate the reply, thanks.

The solution is there, its obvious amd its simple...unfortunately, marketing/designers need to put bread on the table, so we are at their mercy.

The Carlton jumper IS easily the classiest strip in the AFL. Two colours, one of them is the monogram. Where the f$%k does light blue, yellow or any other colour come into the equation??? Answer: It doesnt.

Keep it classy, relevant and simple.

Away strips should be the reverse of the home strip.

White top with navy blue monogram and navy blue numbers. Socks white with navy blue monogram. Only slight change I would consider is that the monogram be made say 5-10% larger as dark on light gives the illusion that the dark is a little smaller.

Agree 99p. Except I'd prefer navy shorts with the white top.

I would've thought this is obvious; but not to the AFL apparently.

We should stick to our guns as McGuire does.
