This really should be a non-contest.

We'll still make it hard for ourselves somehow. The squad will probably get on a plane to the gold coast and THEN realise there is no game on.

Fev was in the crowd tonight.

As long as the lads stay the @#$%&! away from him, I'll be happy.

Seriously though, AFAIK most of the teams who've had the bye so far, have used it to put extra work into their players; and lost the next week.

Perhaps it's a good time to give the lads a rest?

I hope the boys don't get complacent about this one. Every team who has faced them hasn't ended the weekend with any points.

If Jarrad Waite plays as badly versus the bye as he did tonight we have no chance!!!!

Jarrad Waite pinpointed the pass to robinson who pinpointed the pass to walker for the winning goal.

our result after our last bye in 1994.

effectively 2 byes in a row

10 day break from Swans to Saints game
11 day break from Saints to geelong game

But I reckon that Swans game was like 2 in a week, physically and mentally taxing, as were the Crwos & Saints games really.
